Halley sat alone in a dimly lit room, terrified. She had always thought she would get in trouble for using magic, but she didn't think it would be because she has working brain cells. Maybe for using magic, but thinking? Really? It was unfathomable to her. "Who's going to take care of Brandon?" was the only question running through her head, but it soon became, "What do YOU want?" when the Principal entered the room.
Honestly, I don't think ANYONE actually likes him, and it's with cause. The guy is shady, has a criminal record, and no one really knows how strong he is. Huge red flags. Halley knows all this, and was reluctant to tell him anything she saw and definitely not what it meant. He approached her, and Halley instinctively conjured her weapons and fired them. Sharp swords, daggers and arrows were being flung at Moore at a supersonic speed.
Halley had shut her eyes when she attacked, so she was in complete and utter shock to see Kylian in front of her, trying to stop a dagger from stabbing him. She relaxed her hands, and all the knives fell to the floor. She suddenly fell to the ground and passed out. Kylian picked her up and exited the room, glaring at his principal on the way out. He was unaffected and indifferent about what just happened and even decided to let them go.
Halley woke up to the sound of Rebecca begging her for forgiveness, which would confuse anyone. She explained how William triggered her power and made her knock Halley out in time for Kylian to come and rescue her. At hearing this, Kylian blushed a bit, and that caused Halley to blush, but that's not very relevant, at least not now (hehe). What she said next is what confused everyone.
Halley said that the reason why the teacher couldn't use his magic was because of the smell. It's why no one could use their magic except for the hooded man, who ended up committing suicide by detonating the explosive. Before anyone could comment on the explanation, an announcement was made, "All students are required to return to their dorms and are not permitted to leave until they are told so. Please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion and stay calm." (It was about time tbh).
Kiara asked Halley for paper and inscribed on it. She then went back to her and asked her to multiply it, which she did. Kiara then slipped something into everyone's pockets as they were leaving. They all knew not to pull it out until they were in their dorms, which they did. Halley opened her piece of paper to have everyone's contact on it. She then heard a ding from her phone. It was texts from a new group chat.

Kiara: Did you guys get the message?
Michael: yea
William: mhm
Rebecca: I'm in
Louis: What do we do about this?
Halley: What can we do? We're kids
Brandon: For once, I agree with her.
Kylian: I'm with Louis. We have to do something.
Brandon: do we tho?
Britney: Yes! We can't let them win!
Rebecca: As much as this pains me to say, I'm with Louis on this.
Halley: This is a VERY bad idea. I'm in ;)
Brandon: I don't wanna be left out :( I wanna join too
Louis: Fine.
Brandon: Rude!
Halley: Where do we start?

Louis had known Kylian and William since middle school, and he considered them "the only people who don't get on his nerves." He had been to William's house before, so he couldn't understand why everyone else was so amazed by it. It was like they had never been to a prince's home (probably 'cause they haven't). He had a tendency to look down on those who aren't on the same "level" as him.
William is the second crowned prince of the North Kingdom. To recap, this story takes place in Wisteria, which is in an alternate universe. In this world, our 4 hemispheres are 4 kingdoms, so the northern hemisphere is equivalent to the North Kingdom as the Eastern to Eastern Empire, Western to the Kingdom of the West, and Southern to the South Kingdom. Each country is its own independent republic, so the royal family deals with international disputes, unless a nation directly asks them for help. Since the hemispheres intersect each other (NW, NE, SW, SE), this ensures that more than one royal family has power in different parts of Wisteria.
Louis and Kylian are both the sons of heads of state. Kylian of Gallia, and Louis of Helvetia, which are some of the richest countries in the world. As they have been surrounded by adults and rules and expectations all their lives, all three boys are trained in exceptional self-defense measures, including, but not up to, using weapons. Louis knew that William invited them to the palace to teach the others how to fight. To Louis, the palace was same-old-same-old, but to everyone else it was breathtaking.
The 20-story piece of ancient roman and greek art had golden accents all over and diamonds and sapphires adorned all the statues. The garden filled with the most brilliant flowers and herbs looked stunning in its evergreen colour despite the cold. The golden doors of the palace elaborately planted with jewels, and the floor was the most radiant marble you could ever see. A butler then approached the gawking troup and bowed to them and asked if he should prepare accommodations for everyone. William told him to do so and to bring training uniforms for everyone to the royal training room, as well as not let anyone into his room.

Louis found himself looking down on the others when they were gawking at the spectacle that was William's room. The dazzling chandeliers lit up the room in a classical manner, but that was not as impressive as the eccentric design of the room itself. Not to mention the sheer size of the room. It was the size of the gym in the local community center. No. It was bigger.
Louis managed to grab everyone's attention by reminding them why they were here in the first place, but in an insulting manner, 'cause he's, you know, an ******e. They were here for two reasons: (A) make a game plan as to how to catch the perpetrator and (B) train everyone for any potential incidents. He then went on to say that all the women didn't have to worry since they had him protecting them, which made them laugh.
The girls knew that they were capable of protecting themselves as well as everyone else. And Britney knew that all too well.
