Alexander had no words to say.
But a question still rotated in his mind. He wanted to ask Rosalind that but he found his throat to be dry, unable to say a word.
Alexander took a deep breath as he looked into Rosalind's eyes. Evelyn's words echoed in his ears, 'Rosalind is your sister. She will understand you.'
"Something is troubling my mind, Rose. I had thought about it day and night and yet I could not understand why I am feeling this but why didn't you hate me."
Alexander asked as he hardened his heart, "If I was at your place and my sibling hated me a lot without any reason I would have hated them. I would be thinking constantly to try and know the reason behind their behavior. I would have been frustrated and yet you just accepted it." Alexander swallowed. "Why?"
Rosalind laughed as she said playfully. "It looks like you wanted me to be depressed."
