Chapter 3 - Chapter 1 The Beginning

Another 2 years had passed as Aadya was now 5 years old.

Her eyes wide open whilst her imagination runs wild, thinking of how she'll escape her parents' grasp without them waking up. Her lush and wavy maroon hair tied up in two buns as her thick lashes occasionally touch her cheeks whenever she blinks. A pout and a cute small frown appear on her face as she looked at her parents who were hugging her, completely fast asleep. A sigh escapes her pink lips.

'Should I wait for them to wake up or wriggle myself out?'

'mom would get mad at me once she knew I am not here when she wakes up'

'But I want to go to the library right now'

'mom would get mad....'

after a few minutes of debating with herself, she decided to just wriggle herself out and read her favorite books in the library, books about magic.

She carefully wriggles herself behind the thick white blanket making her buns messed up in the process, but it's okay because she furiously gets her buns off when her hair stuck around her hair ponies. She huffs and throws the ponies at the table as she silently went off of the soft cloud bed.

She sneakily walks towards the door as she went out of the room, silently closing the door.

She fixes her hair, combing it, as she pats and flattens her sleeping dress before she heads to the library.

She delightedly hops as she walks as her wavy maroon hair bounces from time to time. The young lady of the manor happily walks down through the halls as she soon meets the long stairs that she despises every time she wants to go to the library.

Aadya looks at the stairs with despise but behind those sparkly purple eyes was like a determination to beat a bad monster that her Dad–Oswald — describes his journey as the hero.

'Aadya, baby... Remember don't let something/s or someone else stop you when you want to learn and achieve something! Tell them to freak off and give them your pointy finger with cold eyes like mine okay?!' She remembers the words of her Dad as her determination spikes up.

' I'm not letting my Dad down!' she was about to walks towards the stairs, Aadya saw a group of pixie lighting the room with 'Crystal Bulb' as they put their mana into it. She looks at the process as her eyes twinkle in excitement.

"Gwean! Gwean!" she calls at the familiar male pixie as her arms wave up to get the attention of the pixie.

"Young Lady! Why are you awake at this hour? you should still be sleeping" The male pixie scolded Aadya with a gentle voice.

"But I just woke up! I can't sweep anymore if I woke up right?" she asks the older male pixie who floats as his wings sparkle. The male pixie looks at the young lady with a complicated expression as he chuckles at her.

"Yes you can, Young Lady. But what makes you shout my name when everybody is sleeping? you could've to wake your parents!" He scolded again making Aadya's eyes widen in realization as she covers her mouth with both hands. The pixies laugh at her cuteness while some give her an awed look.

"I was about to ask how couwd you fwy when you don't even use your wings...It's just glowing!" She says in a hushed voice as she looks up at the male pixie. His eyes widen as he laughs at the child in front of him as if finding her question amusing or hilarious.

"We use our little bits of mana and world mana and then control it inside of us." He motions his hands around his abdomen with a smile on his face. " Since it's already natural for us to flew since birth, we only practice how to control our mana and use the world mana at the same time. Just imagine a newborn 'Earth Eagle' who attempts to fly after being hatched for a day or two...do you think that Eagle could fly?" He asks as he levels himself in front of Aadya as he scrunches down. His head tilted as his shoulder-length yellow-green hair shines.

"No! Becaws it just hatch-ed, it's mother hadn't thought him how to!" Aadya says with a cute frown as Grean smiles and nods.

"That's correct! Everything in this world needs to learn and practice, that same goes for flying. So if a person wants to learn how to float or to fly through the air, that person needs to practice really hard! That also same goes with other forms of magic and spells" Grean says gently and patiently while his smile never leaves his face as he straightens up. Aadya looks up at him with twinkling excited eyes as she put the words on her mind.

'Learn and then practice really hard!' she thought.

Her face was beaming and her smile was wide from ear to ear making the pixies' hearts skip a beat because of her cuteness. "Thank you Gwean! I will be going now." Aadya says as she skips-walk (??), leaving the pixies to continue their work.

Aadya's maroon hair bounces through the air with her face still beaming and smiling as she greets the other servants with a smile, saying 'good morning' to the people she passed by.

Soon after she reaches the last step of the stair and jumps the last one with a victorious smile with her hands up in Victory.

"Yeah!! I win!" she says as she turns around looking at the long stairs with a triumph expression before she heads to the library with a happy aura surrounded her brightly. The servants around couldn't help but smile and shook their heads in amusement as they saw the Young Lady of the manor.

Aadya walks through the long red carpet as the pixies and human servants clean the hallway. Others wiping the vases and window from the Aadya's right while others dust off the navy blue thick curtains as it compliments the warm welcoming of light grey of the ceiling and untainted white walls while the large chandelier between the ceiling.

The red-looking of sunflower absorbs the scent of cleaning chemicals as it displayed every large painting that was nailed on the walls. She stopped at the painting where a young lady, that looks like her mother- Liana, was holding a baby that wrap around in a cute white blanket. The baby had lush black hair as it smiles up at its mother. The lady was wearing a fierce expression whilst it didn't match the elegant white dress she wore in the painting. Her black hair was also tied in a bun with white pearls laid on her head as her baby hair was on the side. The man beside her also wore a long but fierce expression as it matches the armor that the man was wearing in the picture. His long straight hair was also black but it was braided in a manly way making him look terrifying. Though the painting looks so gloomy, but the baby says it otherwise. The baby in a blanket smiles so brightly that it almost changes the mood of the painting

'That's must be a mother! I didn't notice this painting before so why is it here?' she thought for a while as she examines the painting with curious eyes. Sooner she left the painting alone as she decided that her time with the books was matter more than standing there.

"The books might miss me if I'm late" she mumbles as she hurriedly walks towards the library. Soon after Aadya finally arrived at her lovely haven, the library of course, as her eyes shone in excitement. She put both of her small chubby hands on the surface of the wood and push it open. Feeling the smooth surface of it as the door creaks open silently. She went inside the half-lit wide room as shelves after shelves of full of books were seen. Differ from non-literature to literature.

It is one of the treasures of nobles and if you have a lot of knowledge books in your library, the more people view you as filthy rich because of how expensive books are.

She changes her slippers and puts them on the table where it supposed to be as she wore the soft slippers that are for only in the library. Aadya and her mom, Liana both love the library to the point they rather live here and procrastinate. Though their difference was that Aadya loves to learn while Liana loves to read novels inside the library because it literally meant 'Do not disturb'.

Aadya walks inside the library as she runs towards her soft spot that was specially made for her by her father. Full of soft fabrics and pillows as it surrounded by a pile of books that she finished reading. She sat in the middle of soft fabrics and put the pillow on her legs as she leans her body on the wall. She took the book with a bookmark in its middle as opens it. Her eyes lit up as she reread the page.

The book was titled "The Foundation of Magic II ". It was meant to read by a 10-year-old because that was when they were able to learn 'magic'. A ' baby magician' can control their mana when they reach 8 years old and by that time they are required to practice basics of magic and by the time they hit 12 to 14 years old they are now able to attend a school which would help them to learn and build their skills when it comes to using magic.

Though Aadya is still a 5-year-old kid, Liana and Oswald never restrict her when it comes to learning and just let her have her way. Aadya was very happy about it and appreciated them so much that she promised herself that when she grows up, she will never disappoint them. So she put herself into bliss by doing what she loves.

While reading the book silently by herself, surrounded by a pile of books too, she notices something on her peripheral. She turns her head to the right to check if something was amiss. She looks at the book on shelves with confusion and then continues her reading.

'Find me'

She heard an incoherent voice to her right side but even though the voice was mumbled she still manages to catch what it says. She tries to ignore it as she thinks it was just her illusion. She shrugs her shoulders and read the books again in front of her.

' Don't ignore me! ' it says again but this time a harsh chilling wind pass through her making the books she was reading flip through the different pages.

Her face was full of black lines now.
