I finally gathered up the courage to confront her about everything once I saw her being a little bit relaxed under my gaze when I comforted her. But as soon as I asked her the question she was visibly tensed and scared to even look my way. I still failed to understand why she was so scared to answer the question for which we were here at the first place.
Yes we are supposed to talk to each other in order to solve all the misunderstandings causing these unfortunate series of events to stop all of it.
"Ahana, what's wrong with buying female products and female clothes when you are a female yourself?" I asked her again with the same confused look but a bit more confidence in voice.
I saw her winced under my voice. It looked like as if she was on the verge of crying and I felt bad again because she was again being uncomfortable because of me.
"Namchan, can we not talk about it please? I know that was the whole point from which all these problems started but I can not talk about it." She said with fear prominent in her voice. I sighed in disappointment and confusion being defeated to not be able to know what was wrong with her.
"But dont worry, it will never come in between your way, I mean I will never be a problem to you ever again." she said, eyes fixed on her finger playing with the hem of the shirt absent mindedly.
We payed for each of our coffee, she didn't allowed me to pay for her, which I did respected that she was an independent woman.
It was already dark when we came outside of the coffee shop, so I decided to drop her to her house and I knew if I offer her to drop her to her house the only answer she would give is a 'no' so I decided to not say anything and just go with her.
We boarded the same bus as we always did anyways. We talked about university and studies. She was being a little bit more talkative and she was being a little bit more comfortable around me and that really gave me a immense amount of happiness.
Originally I planed to go with her to her stop and walk with her till her house giving any kind of possible excuse, but this girl sure knew some magic spells tho.
Eventually I ended up missing my stoppage anyway without even noticing and even walked upto the lane which leads to her house.
Once we reached the lane, that's when we both realized that I was being an idiot and completely forgot where I was and what was I doing just because I was so lost in talking to her. I know this sounds ridiculous but that's what actually happened to me now.
I actually didn't had a problem as I planed to drop her off safely anyways but surely I was disappointed of myself being such a creepy idiot now.
I literally hit my face with my hand in disappointment and she let put a small, subtle but genuine laugh and my heart beat almost stopped for a moment. Her laugh was beautiful.
We were standing in front of the lane at the end of which her house was. I felt it was safe to let her go from here alone as she might not like me to know her exact house address. She was still smiling a little and I can understand that looking her eyes being almost closed as her cheeks plumed up due to her smiling.
"So ....um....I will leave now, it's being late now....see you tomorrow " I said, not because I was not sure how to say bye but because I didn't wanted to say bye to her and ofcourse I didn't knew the reason for such a stupid behavior.
She nodded understanding. "Go back safely, Namchan" she said and my heart wanted to jump out of my mouth and my mind just seemed as if it just went to sleep as it was blank. The way she sounded concern about me and the way she softly took my name even with her heavy childish voice made me wanna jump around in excitement like a puppy who just got a treat.
She was beautiful and I was stupid.
