Chapter 6 - The Alaad Continent [Bonus]

Alaad was a majestic continent where many ancient creatures and beasts lived.

The major races that occupy this continent are Humans, Elves, Dwarves, all types of beast-men, etc. Standing at the top of the food chain are mythical creatures that were said to have existed since the creation of the continent itself—the dragons.

There were 8 types of dragons in total. Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lighting, Ice, Green, and Dark. During the Ancient one's reign, the dragon races were united into One empire. It was known as the Dragon Realm. The other races, such as the dwarfs and elves, also inhabited parts of the dragon realm, but each with its kingdoms.

After the Battle of Agnar, followed by the death of the Ancient, the dragon realm split up. Each dragon race had its own kingdom, and the elves and dwarfs formed their separate territories. Later on, the 8 generals of the Ancient One would take up the role of a king for their respective races, and this created a royal family bloodline.

The dragon realm takes up the eastern regions of the Alaad continent, while the human kingdoms territories and beast-kingdoms take up the Western regions.

Western Region

Humans have the highest population of all the inhabitants of the Alaad continent. Including all the human territories, their population can be estimated to be 100 million. The empire of Freiya is the most populous and influential country in human territories, accounting for 35 percent of the human total population. Etrea is the second most populous country, holding 25 percent of the human population.

There are many types of beast-man, but all of them inhabited the northwestern region of the Alaad continent. The kingdom of Kurbus holds a total of 10 million beast-men with the mighty beast king as their ruler.

Eastern Region (formerly known as the Dragon Realm)

The elves are located right off the fire and dark dragon kingdoms. They live in a place known as "The Eternal Forest". Although this forest is as big as a kingdom, the elves themselves aren't a kingdom, but rather several Elven tribes that inhabit this forest. Generally speaking, the elf population is 20 thousand.

The Dwarven kingdom is called Ekrund. It is located in the far north of the Northern region of the Alaad continent. Its population is said to be about 35 thousand Dwarves. Much like the elves, the dwarves like to live in tribes, but they are far more united as a kingdom than the elves.

Dragons of the past used to live in caves and could not transform into human form. However, after the Ancient One united the dragons, they created civilizations where a king of dragons was crowned. Additionally, they stopped living in caves and formed communities.

Dragons look very similar to humans, but their physiques are entirely different. The average dragon, one that is not even a warrior, is still 10 times stronger than a normal human, and they also have horns growing on their heads. Each Dragon kingdom has a population of around 28-34 thousand dragons.

Most Dragons of today do not possess the same power as their predecessors. Most of them aren't ancient dragons and cannot freely transform. Only Dragon Knight of rank 7 or higher can freely transform into a full-fledged Dragon.

The elves, dwarves, and dragons have a sparse population because of their extremely high life expectancy.
