(Nozel's pov)
I couldn't see the light anymore because I woke up. It was midnight, but, on a table, it was a lighted candle and (Y/N) was sleeping on the couch uncovered.
I got up and covered her with my robe, and then, my stomach rumbled so loud that I woke her up.
"...Yawn... What the hell sounded like that?... Oh. Hi, Nozel!..Yawn... How are you? "
"I...I'm so sorry...I..." I said blushing bright red. I was so ashamed that I could barely say something.
"Nozel, I asked you something. Please answer!" she said with a serious face.
"I'm fine. I'm not cold anymore and the headache started to disappear. I'm a little bit hungry, though."
"A little?" she said raising an eyebrow.
"Ok, fine. I'm starving. Are you satisfied now?" I said frowning at her.
"...Sigh...Nozel, I'm not here to tell you what to do or to prove that I'm always right. I am here to take care of you. " she said with a calm voice.
"Then, where were you all these years? You left me when I needed you the most. Why do you even bother to care about me? I'm a lost cause!" I said very frustrated. She approached to me and put her right hand on my shoulder.
"You're not a lost cause. It's not too late for you to change. I know how much you suffered while I was gone, but it's still hope for you. Please, trust me!" she said and I calmed down. She moved her hand to my shoulder to my hand. "Now let's go to the kitchen to eat something!"
(6 days later. 30th December)
It was my birthday and the (Y/N) had to leave the Silva Residence. My siblings were hugging her while crying.
"Silvia, please don't go! Please!" they said hugging (Y/N) tightly ,not letting her move.
"I'm sorry, kids, but I can't stay anymore. My job was to take care of you for a month and that month passed. I can't do anything about that." she said hugging them back. I was standing on a corner watching them. They had never get so attached to anybody since our mother died.
"We will miss you, Silvia."
"I'll miss you too." she said and left.
After that, I did my daily job as a magic knight and entered in my room. On the table, was a gift and a letter next to it. I opened the letter. It was from (Y/N). In the letter, she explained how the Wizard King took her to his mansion and trained her to become stronger to avoid what happened that night when Beatrice, her sisters and Tedros nearly killed her. Also, she wished me happy birthday and brought me a gift. I opened the gift and it was a light blue scarf. My heart was beating fast. It was the first time when someone, except my mother, brought me a gift. That made me feel that I'm not alone for the first time in two years. I was so happy that I wanted to hug (Y/N) ,but she wasn't there so I hugged the scarf instead. That feeling was so good that I wanted to never end. Since then, all the winter I wore that scarf. It was warm and that feeling which gave me strength to endure Beatrice and my father.
One night, (Y/N) was knocking in my window . I let her in.
"Hi, Nozel! I saw that you wear the scarf. I guess you like it."
"I love it. Thank you so much!" I said and hugged her. She hugged me back.
"I'm so happy that you love it. This is my first time I gave a gift to someone." she said with a smile on her face. She was so beautiful smiling that I blushed bright red and smiled too.
After a short time, she left and I was in my bed trying to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about (Y/N). The feelings for (Y/N) returned and all what I wanted that night was to spend more time with her, like two years ago.
