"Doctor!"

"I think my son is awake!"

It's so dark but I heard a strange man's voice, it was so desperate that it echoed many times in my head.

For some reason, my heart ached so much for that man, even though he sounded like a stranger.

I wanted to take a look at him but my whole body was so weakened I couldn't even lift my eyelids.

Suddenly darkness turned into redness and I could feel the heat on my eyelids.

The doctor opened my eyes with his fingers, he shone a bright light upon my eyes with his flashlight pen to check if I am conscious.

"He is alright now," the doctor said with a calm voice reassuring a strange old man.

When I first opened my eyes everything was blurred, after a while when my eyes adjusted I could see the ceiling.

Even though I was so weakened I put effort to turn my head left and right to check where I am.

I found out that I was in a hospital room bedridden and connected with a life machine.

I title my head a bit, then I saw a strange man holding the doctor's hands tightly and saying,

"Thank you, doctor!"

"Thank you for saving my son!"

"What?! Am I supposed to be this stranger's son," I thought to myself

The old man was so grateful that he started crying his eyes out that he wiped his tears with his sleeves.

The doctor calmed him down saying,

"Don't thank me, it's my job"

,

"I will be leaving you with your son to catch up."

The old man bowed to him as the doctor went out of the room.

As soon as I was left alone with the old man in the hospital's room, he stood up after he was bowing.

Then he turned towards me as I was bedridden, suddenly the expression on his face changed completely.

He glared at me with a murderous intent that sent chills down to my spine and said with a deep voice,

"Why didn't you die, you shithead?"
