It started out as a ripple in the white, a dark orb floating until it covered the floors and every spot in his vision. Prince Qui could suddenly feel the cold air and smell the smoke from the bonfire in the middle of the ground.
There he saw the last person that he was expecting. General Nive. The same general who trained and raised him in the military base like a second father. He could not help but run to him.
Prince Qui felt like a child whose candy was stolen when his fingers reached for the general's shoulder and felt nothing but air. "General," he said, a little desperately, and made another grab.
Still nothing.
