Chapter 337 - As Dark As Yesterday

Prince Qui was not willing to let it rest. He figured that the only way he could convince himself was to see it with his own eyes. He had thought about trying to attack Ieves, to know if the magic gets activated if someone was attacking her, but that would have been too much for a child if he was wrong.

In another scenario, Ieves had just woken up that moment when General Ei saw the color of her eyes. This was the safer option, so he thought it would be the best. There he was in the medical tent, at the bedside of the child at seven in the morning, waiting for her to wake. When her eyes open, he would see the color and determine what was going on.

He hated that he felt like a helpless child going on around in circles. It was like he was swinging a sword in the dark. He could not win this war if he did not know what he was up against.
