Chapter 316 - When The Time Is Right

"Patience, Qui," shouted General Nive when the prince had been younger.

"I don't want to do this anymore," he said and let his arms fall to his sides. The tip of the arrow grazing the ground. "My arms hurt!"

"Well, you are not going to get better at it if you're going to give up all the time."

Prince Qui sighed and lifted his arms even though stretching and holding his muscles together made him want to fold inwards. His arrow flew but struck the ground only 4 meters away. "I'm exhausted."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," said the general. "Tomorrow, you're going to start working on your arms. Eat plenty tonight. You need your fat."

Survival was one of the things that the military teaches its students. The conditions outside of the walls were not ideal, and it was hard to live there. They would have to learn how to find fresh food in case their inventory would run out.
