"Ah, isn't it Golden Boy?" said General Ei and then took a puff from his tobacco.
"Better put that out then," said General Bhi. "You know he'll throw you out of the room if he smells it."
General Ei made an annoying noise but followed anyway. He had been smoking by the opening of the tent for that exact reason. From where they were, both generals could see the marching soldiers carrying the flags of Heping.
"Wouldn't it be funny if he would just suddenly plop dead?" General Ei asked, pulling an imaginary crossbow and aiming at the small figure of Prince Qui.
General Bhi laughed. "Come on, give credit to the kid. He's the best fighter in years!"
"I'd bet a thousand gold. I'll hit him, just a little graze on the shoulder," said General Ei, grabbing a real-life crossbow from the side.
General Bhi was alarmed but hid it. "And I would bet my entire family's fortune that he would catch that arrow from the air."
