The day that Prince Qui came back was actually at nighttime. The prince himself did not expect that he would be home by this hour, but he could no longer wait. The moment that he had been done checking the twelfth castle, he got back on the train.
He closed his eyes very hard and forced himself to shut his brain. He did not want to think about the possible consequences that his coming home would bring. He would deal with it after he spent a day with his wife.
He should be outside of the walls right now, getting into position and setting up possible traps. But no, he would send others out there first—which he should NOT be doing—as he should be the one helming this whole thing. Prince Qui sighed. There was no escaping his mind. There was no way that his mind would let him rest until he was already working.
