Tianshi Xue did not have a single idea on where the prince was taking her. "How is this supposed to help?" she asked, feeling the sun's heat prickling her skin. Prince Qui was holding up an umbrella for the two of them but her feet were still bathing under the sunlight.
"I'm not sure," the prince told her. "But we're going to have to try. Before it's too late."
Tianshi Xue scratched at her head. "Do you really think that we would be able to access the princess' memories? What are we gonna do? Try to summon a demon again, or a goddess this time? Or like an alien?"
Prince Qui sighed at her impatiently. "I'm not sure."
"So this trip could be… pointless?"
"Possibly," said the prince with a slight irritation. "If you don't want to walk or help in this, you can just go back to the palace."
She immediately latched on his arm despite the warm weather. "No, I'm coming with you."
