While Prince Qui and Tianshi Xue were walking back to the palace, he noticed that she was being too quiet. "Hey," he said, "it's okay. The first one is not the correct answer. We can try to find new leads in the library."
He did not think that she would be that brought down by their failure in Cure for the Evil. But she looked forlorn, her eyes on the ground, refusing to lift her head.
Only when they had reached the palace that he spoke to her. "You're scaring me. You're silent. What's going on? Did you eat something bad?"
Tianshi Xue shook her head at him.
Sunset was about to start and he knew he should not, but he snapped a finger to one of the guards standing and said, "Have drinks sent to our room."
