Prince Qui was grinning to himself as he buttoned his coat. Although he prefers his full dress uniform from the military, he had to wear the other one today. He loathed this 'prince outfit'. But he guess he should be thankful that it was not white in color, it was in a dark blue hue—almost the same as his formal military attire—and that there was no cape attached to his back even though the fringes on his shoulders were driving him to the walls.

The reason for the grin was because he knew that Princess Lin Yingyue could not sit still. He should sympathize with her, but after all the throwing under the bus shenanigan last night at the dinner with his mother, he was not yet finding it in his heart. The princess was getting ready on the other side of their walk-in closet. Howin was busy tying laces around her body and putting pretty pins on her hair.
