Tianshi Xue adjusted the huge sunglasses that covered half her face on the bridge of her pointy nose. Wireless earphones were plugged to her ears and she pretended not to hear them. This was why she hated shopping in a mall. People just could not help but notice her. But who would not?
She was a stunning beauty—one of the pride of their land that was for sure. Her long dark hair tumbled down to her waist in soft curls. She felt cold with her outfit, an off-shoulder long-sleeved floral cropped top and a matching high-waist shorts. Her thigh-high boots offered little warmth.
"I think we should ask," said another voice. There were two people who had been following her around this store for the past five minutes.
