Chapter 28 - Coconuts

It was a long walk to the nearby beach on the other end of the forest. Yang Qui loved exploring the land and found this around three years ago. It was not a beach that you can swim in as the waves could swallow you whole. The sand was fine and beige in color.

The palm trees were easy to spot and a few moments later, he was already looking up at one of them. He immediately started stripping his sword from his waist and his shirt, pulling the shoes off his feet.

Biting on a knife, he jumped and pulled himself up and up. It was not that much of a hard task. Their training included learning how to climb without the use of ropes and other accessories. He relied heavily on the strength of his own body.

When he reached the top, his leg and arm muscles aching, he huffed out a breath and took the knife to cut the coconuts. They fell to the sand with almost inaudible thumps.
