Tianshi Xue came to when she felt that there were hands all over her body and her instincts fired up and she quickly trashed against them. Her body ached and disagreed with her in so many levels that she thought that she was going to start crying at some point, but she knew she needed to survive so she clamped her mouth and endured it.
Sounds entered her ears and she was able to decipher it.
"Princess! Princess! Please calm down. You're safe. Please calm down," said a panic-stricken voice. "Open your eyes, please, Your Highness."
Tianshi Xue recognized that voice. It belonged to her handmaiden, Howin. She peered out of one eye and the familiar face flooded her vision.
Howin was out of breath but she looked like she was calming down. "Please, let us take care of you. You have been through a lot tonight."
