There was nothing but rage in Prince Qui's heart. It was one of those moments wherein all he could see was red. He badly wanted to hurt someone—Gamma. He wanted to see blood and pain.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" he whispered, unwilling to believe this. "What the fuck do you mean 'welcome to The Traveling Nightmare'?"
"I'm dead, Qui," said Gamma. "You're its leader now."
Prince Qui swore aloud. "Stop making fun of me. This is no longer funny."
"You need to calm down," said Gamma. "I'll walk you through everything. It's part of my responsibility to show you the way."
"Fuck your ways. I don't care." Prince Qui made himself move. Clearly, the blade was not working in his favor. It was not doing any damage. He stepped away, breathing, but it was like there was no oxygen. "Don't fucking come close," he said and placed his hands on his knees.
His chest was suddenly hurting, and he clutched at it.
"It's not our will," said Gamma.
