Over the next few days, the days grew colder, and Tianshi Xue was mainly holed up in her brand new office or was busy implementing the plans she had proposed. She was given her own team, and she was daunted at first that they were all waiting for her to speak and direct them on what to do. Being in charge of something that matters was something that she had to get used to.
While Prince Qui was in a wild goose chase looking for answers about the symbols, she was thankful that she had something that could keep her mind occupied instead of worrying about her husband.
She hated to admit it, but the prince having a direction, was helping him sleep. She hated that all of this searching was making him sleep peacefully. Tianshi Xue wanted for it to bother him to convince him to stop and stay in the palace. But there was little that she could do.
