It was finally the day of the charity and Tianshi Xue was feeling excited with how this day was going to turn out. It would be filled with activities and she wanted to try them all. Maybe she would pick up a hobby or two.
She suddenly smiled to herself as Howin dressed her in a short dress that had a long veil attached to the shoulders—like a thin cape. The shape of her legs were showed with calf-length boots in dark blue.
She was getting too ambitious with the things that she wanted to experience. "Do you think I am being too greedy?" she asked her handmaiden.
"About what, Your Highness?"
"There's so many things that I wanted to try. Does it make it seem like I am trying too hard?"
Howin smiled at her. "I am very happy for you, Princess. You used to stay inside the library all the time, or spending your morning and afternoons with Prince Xiaodan. It's nice that you're exploring things."
