Tianshi Xue wanted to spring away from Prince Qui because of the voice. She tried to push him off her but it was Prince Qui's turn to tease and he refused to let her go.
She could hear footsteps, all she could see was their silhouette. It was not after a few yards did she realize that it was Prince Xiaodan and attached to his side was the beautiful Princess Shanti.
She tried for another shove but Prince Qui did not budge. "What?" he asked, low enough that they were the only ones who could hear. "I thought you liked being pressed against the wall?"
Tianshi Xue widened her eyes at him and he laughed. Finally, he stepped back and let her out of the cage of his arms.
"I hope we weren't interrupting something," said Prince Xiaodan in a clipped tone.
