We were cheering our basketball team even though they were barely scoring. I couldn't help but think about the note. Was it Hailey or someone else? I didn't want to assume so I was going to check if her handwriting matched the one on the note.
"Hey why aren't you cheering for the guys?" Julia asked. I might have forgotten to mention that I was too lost in thought to cheer our team and was just sitting.
"Yeah maybe your lack of cheer is what's making us lose." Taylor told as they sat down again since the first half was over.
"Poor Alex has been looking at you only to find you uninterested in his game." Leslie said wiping an imaginary tear and dramatically leaning against Lily for support.
