Dili's POV:
As I saw aunty Velma approaching, I smiled. I didn't even notice when she and Rica slipped out. Nathan and I were so engulfed in our talk that we didn't notice. God have I missed my cousin. We were practically the best of friends. Chimdi and Tobi didn't need to know about that particular piece of information though.
Being in the presence of my aunty after my mother's death hasn't been the easiest. I mean she was literally a perfect carbon copy of my late mom. Although they were few differences you could use to differentiate them, only just a few though. Like for one, my aunty had a small mole slightly above her lips, while my mother had none. But you know for the past two years that I had stayed with my aunty while I was still undergoing my treatments, I had grown to overcome that sad feeling anytime I saw her face. And I am truly happy about that.
