"Wait are you serious, you don't like celebrating your birthday?" I easily noted the disbelief in Favour's voice. I couldn't blame her.
I sighed "It's not that I don't like celebrating my birthdays, I just don't celebrate it" I explained.
I heard a snort from Victoria "That's almost the same thing girl"
I looked down not really wanting to tell them the reason. I was embarrassed of the reason myself. But finally mustering up the courage I could gather up I muttered out telling them.
"Because I never really had anyone to celebrate them with" Admitting that was really embarrassing. I was looking down all the while as I told them this.
I was expecting to see pity on their faces when I looked back up but instead I saw radiant smiles plastered on their faces.
"Well you don't have to worry about that anymore Rica. You have us now" Tobi said reassuringly.
