"His wife to be? Seriously?" I knew Favour would be the first one to call me out on what I said. The others laughed as I bent my head avoiding all eye contacts, especially from a particular someone.
Embarrassed I muttered "Shut up, it was on impulse" It actually was.
"Impluse ke?" I rolled my eyes at her.
"Yes impluse. Now can we continue going" I didn't wait for any confirmation from them instead I began to walk leaving them believe.
"Well it's not like she lied, she is his wife to be" I heard Victoria's teasing voice whisper and then I heard the others laugh in agreement.
I groaned into my hand as I used it to cover my face. I was feeling too embarrassed to come up with a comeback.

They still teased me even until we got to the parking lot. I kept a good distance from myself and them. It was today that I realized I could really walk fast. Infact, they should enlist me in a speed walking competition I would definitely come out a champion, I'm sure of that.
