Come on let's dance!" The strawberry blonde suddenly exclaims after chugging her second drink. Not giving either males a chance to reply pulls both by an arm out on the dance floor. Another idol group this time is performing rather than a band. The unit Dark Skies which he's always been a huge fan of, even having their poster in his bedroom. The team of six are made up with both male and female singers, which tend to be a rare mix in this field. Kahaku hasn't been to a concert of theirs in forever, so getting to hear them now does help brighten up the mood.
Megumi starts dancing Kyou joining in without hesitation. Normally he'd feel a bit awkward during situations like these, but all he wishes for tonight is to just have some fun. Besides working on his dancing for the pass several months he possesses at least some rhythm.
He starts moving his body along with the music and the earlier stress starts to melt away. Soon finding himself joking and laughing with the two of them work far from his mind.
After Dark Skies performs their songs they start setting up for the next group to take the stage. The trio decides to use this opportunity to head back to their table for a short rest. "That was amazing! It's like they get better every time they step foot on stage," Kahaku exclaims.
"Yeah I don't listen much to that style of music but it was a great performance." Kyou agrees as Megumi stares at the younger with a grin.
"You seem to be smiling a lot now compared to how you started off at the beginning of the night. I'm glad."
Kahaku was a little surprised by the observation at first before a warm smiling returning on his face. "All thanks to you. I'm happy you invited me to join you guys."
"Whenever you need a break you're welcomed to come along anytime." Kyou giving the male a small pat on the shoulder. Kahaku really is lucky to have friends like this in his corner when he needs them. With the next group all ready to go they turn thier attention towards the stage.
After some time passes it's not much left before the club closes up. Looking over at the couple next to him who clearly has had too much to drink. So much for drinking responsibly. Megumi shakes the black haired male around wildly by his shoulders. "Woo let's go for one more round of dancing kay?! We can't sit down during the main performance!"
"You don't have to shout! There isn't even any music playing right now!"
"Oi Kahaku, tone it down a little. You're being too loud." Kyou chastises completely ignoring the fact his girlfriend was just yelling a second ago. He simply sighs seeing no point in arguing with him.
A man's voice up front grabs his attention. One of the workers standing on stage with five shadows lined up behind him. It's a little hard to make out the figures with the lights dimmed, but some seem to already recongize them as girls start screaming before he can speak.
"For are main performance of tonight is who you've all been waiting for. Please give it up for One Star!"
Applause fills the room and Kahaku nearly spits out his drink as the stage lighting now reveals five young males already in position. He can't believe One Star is actually singing here tonight. Way to ruin the happy mood.
"Aren't they the ones who spread those awful rumors about you? You probably wouldn't even be in this situation if it wasn't for them, you know." Megumi now whispering though he's sure with all the noise it's no possible way for them to had heard even if she shouted. But now that she's pointed it out if the rumor spreading is true a lot of this is them to blame. Chidori couldn't have attempted to expose Treasure the way she did if there was no rumors in the first place. Which means Natsume wouldn't had to prove himself to the audience like he did, and Kahaku could have stayed in denial of his feeling. He still isn't sure if what Tatsuya said is accurate, but wants to speak with them himself so he can try and get down to the bottom of this.
Megumi is suddenly on her feet slamming the empty glass on the table. "Little phonies who have to ruin others careers to get ahead don't deserve to perform here! Boo!" To make matters worse Kyou jumps up joining her in the booing. It takes him all the strength he can muster to drag his two drunk friends back down in their seats before they can cause a scene.
"Tonight we'll be performing our hit single Light Up The Sky." The silver haired man announces Kahaku taking to be the leader the triplets spoke of. More cheers go through the place as Kenshin starts them off.
K: The dark empty skies...
H: Reflect the state of my mind.
I: Standing all alone...
R: I've given up my hope.
S: The fleeting dreams are just out of my grasp.
All four: If given one more chance. The other four chant in the background as Soma continues to sing.
S: I'll rise to the top and shine brighter than any other.
Finally all five begin to sing together alongside dancing as well.
All: One star has risen to new heights. Finally emerged in the light. Now get our chance to shine. Ohhh.
K: Our desires at lastly will come alive.
I: Our shooting star will reach to the heavens tonight.
H: The glow we all give will never die out.
R: The luminary star we formed will outshine those clouds.
The girls are going wild as Megumi and Kyou are still complaining from their seats. Kahaku himself can only stare at them in awe. They've only been performing for a little longer than he has, yet the amount of skills they possess in both their singing and dancing is incredible. "They're on a whole different level than me..." A small pit forming in his stomach as the song continues.
When their performance is over Kahaku lies saying he's going to the bathroom to break away from them and talk to One star by himself. Unfortunately there's security blocking the only entrance towards the back. Thinking on how to possibly get by a group of fangirls cause havoc by the stage as the closing act performs. In just that second the security guy leaves to intervene he sneaks backstage unnoticed.
Peeping inside all of them are packing up getting ready to leave. One of them is average height having dirty blonde medium length hair up in a messy ponytail and deep blue eyes. He's talking to a boy who looks like the youngest member and not much taller than Kahaku. He has short red hair with a few bobby pins holding back the right side.
Two others are standing across from them. One is a very tall male leaning against the wall drinking from a bottle of water. His long hair a light blue and tied back in a ponytail. The man standing next to him has dark green hair and glasses actually reminds him a little of Tatsuya. His magenta eyes seems to be going over some kind of schedule.
The last guy is standing by himself opposite of Kahaku. His silver hair covering the left of his face and his golden eye staring down at his phone screen. He's the one who was taking lead out on stage. They're all wearing matching blue and black outfits that must of been for the show.
Kahaku doesn't want to admit it but in general their look isn't that bad, though he knows that's an understatement. They kinda all give off this cool vibe that draws you in. He probably shouldn't be thinking like this about possible enemies.
Soma finally notices his presence letting out a soft sigh. "And just how'd you make it back here? Sorry we don't have time for-" Suddenly stopping himself his golden eye growing wide in surprise, probably just realizing who he is. Itsuki walks up to him with a big smile on his face.
"You're Kahaku Yuiga! It's surprising to see you here. I'm Itsuki and this is Kenshin." Gesturing to the blonde beside him. "Hachiro is the one with the water bottle and glasses guy is Ryuga." Hachiro sharp eyes leave the floor piercing up at him. Ryuga on the other hand doesn't even give so much as a glance from his notebook. "Lastly that's Soma our leader."
"It's...nice to meet you all. I didn't come back here to waste your time. I just wanted to speak with you about a rumor that went around a few days ago. I'm sure you already know what it is by Chidori's show last night. I don't know if you're truly responsible, but if you are it needs to stop." He tries to keep his voice steady and firm. Doing this by himself is a little scary and he can feel his body tensing up. Still he might not get another chance to confront them.
Soma only lets out a snort. "We had nothing to do with that."
"Yeah we would never! I have no idea who said those things about you two," Itsuki cries, his green eyes looking a bit offended.
"How rude, to put the blame on someone who had no part in this." Ryuga mutters still looking down at his notebook writing away.
More like how rude it is to talk to someone without even looking up to face them once.
But he knows he doesn't have the confidence to say something smart like that out loud. Hachiro mumbles something along the lines of 'getting his facts straight' and Kenshin remains silent. Kahaku glances over at him but he quickly breaks eye contact. He's the only one acting so odd.
"We can care less about Treasure so please don't bother us on this matter again. Now if you'll excuse us." Soma's voice is cold as he turns toward the exit everyone following behind him.
"Hope we meet under better circumstances next time," Itsuki says with a small wave, as he's the last to leave.
He takes back what he said about them looking cool. They seem to be jerks or at least most of them anyway. Even if they denied this doesn't just make them innocent. He has no way of knowing if they're telling the truth or not. "Only time will tell I guess."
Kahaku comes back out to see the club now practically empty. Megumi and Kyou are arguing on the middle of the dance floor. "Kahaku, there you are! You have to dance with me not him, okay?"
"Don't be like that man dance with me! I asked first!"
"Wha! No you didn't, I just did!"
"I asked him before he left! Are you deaf?!"
"You're such a liar!" Megumi pouts as he stares blankly at the pair. Are they both because it isn't even any music playing with the last group finished. Just how drunk are they?
"Give me your keys Megumi, I'm driving."

Kahaku steps backstage exhausted after performing a sole performance that was scheduled today. The crowd seemed more hyped than usual this time. Maybe it's because his singing has been improving.
He looks around for Tatsuya who is nowhere in sight. Where did he take off to? He was just here earlier. After a minute he comes back but not alone. A certain blue hair trio is standing behind him. "These boys say they're acquaintances of yours. They wanted to see you."
"Ka-ha-ku!" Yoshi greets in a lighthearted tone.
"Shi triplets! What are you guys doing here?"
"We wanted to watch your performance. We see you really are improving," Toshi says.
"Thanks, it's good to know all the hard work lately has been paying off."
Who he believes to be the youngest latches his arm around him speaking in a hushed tone. "Furthermore we wanted to hear all about what happened Saturday night."
"Yoshi! We promised we wouldn't bring that up." Toshi snaps and Makashi simply sighs.
"It's Yoshi we're talking about. You should have known better. Look you don't gotta say anything you don't want to."
He might as well tell them. They already know the truth about him and Natsume anyway. "I'll start from the beginning."
He explains everything from the way Chidori switched during the show, to his One Star confrontation last night. By the time he's finished they look just as shocked about it as Megumi had. Makashi tsks his lips in frustration. "I can't believe those guys would go that far. I never liked them to begin with."
"I can't believe Chidori! You agreed to go on her show and she completely throws you under the bus. Well she just lost a viewer!" Yoshi crossing his arms and Toshi seems to be the only one in deep thought.
"If she pulled something drastic so suddenly...it makes me wonder if she was in on it with them all along."
"You mean One Star asked her to do that?" Kahaku questions, and the older triplet shoulders shrug.
"I can't say for sure it's just a thought, but we have been featured on her show back when we first started singing. She was never like that then so it just doesn't make any sense..."
It never crossed his mind that One Star might have set Chidori up to put them on the spot. They could of pulled some kind of strings, and if they did it once they'll do it again. What if next time they aren't so deceiving? "What if this only excalates? Things have been going well for us so far, and they could be just the thing to ruin that."
"Who cares if they pull more crap." Toshi opens his mouth to say something but Makashi continues on. "As long as you two play it off as well as you did Saturday you'll be fine. They'll give up eventually but you only have to survive this for a few months."
This is shocking to hear encouraging words-from Makashi nonetheless but he is right. His career can really benefit from this and as he told Megumi it's too late to back out now. So he'll just have to suck it up and deal with this somehow. Besides he has bigger problems like how to keep his true feeling under raps from Natsume. "Thanks, I'll try to keep that in mind."
"That was nice to try and cheer him up, Makashi. You really are warming up to him, aren't you?" Toshi asks in a teasing tone and Makashi averts his eyes face now red.
"It's just tiring hearing him complain. Anyway we seen him so can we go now?" Before waiting for either of their answers he turns toward the exit.
"I don't know what you're in such a rush to leave for. You're the one who told us he was singing here tonight to begin with." Makashi's body freezes up at Yoshi's teasing remark.
"I'll kill you if you don't stop talking! I only said something so if either of you wanted to go, not to waste my time." Is that really true? He seemed a little happy to Kahaku when he first came in but maybe it's just him.
"We'll see you later, Kahaku." Toshi says while pushing a still arguing Yoshi and Makashi out the door with him.

His cooking for once turns out to be a success as he covers up the curry rice he made Sho for dinner. Which should be home in a few minutes. He still hasn't spoken to Natsume at all since Saturday. Technically he's called a few times but Kahaku always made an excuse or didn't answer at all. He knows he'll have to speak with him eventually, specifically tomorrow since they have work to do. But now that he's realized his feeling he has no idea how to act around him. At least there's still one last day of rest. Just thinking this suddenly it's a knock on the front door.
Sho home from school? But he wouldn't knock on the door.
He makes his way into the living room and completely freezes at who's standing on the other side. "N-Natsume!"
"Hey, you don't mind if I step in do you?" Well scratch that. He'll be facing Natsume sooner than later.
"...No, come on in."
The two sit on opposite ends of the couch in complete silence. With the only voices going are the ones from the television. Kahaku figets side to side and glances at Natsume, who seems to be in deep thought of probably what to say about Saturday. "About the show..."
"You don't have to say anything really! Like I said I understand why you had to."
"I was trying to come over and clear up some of the awkwardness, though I'm failing miserably. I was a little worried you were angry with me since you seemed to always be busy. I didn't want there to be confliction during practice tomorrow, but it's a relief to find out we're good."
If he only knew.
"How was Akira when she found out?"
"Pretty upset and she still is actually. I wish there was something I could say to ease her worries but...it won't be like this forever. Hopefully she'll be alright until this is all over."
"You really do love her, don't you? Of course you do she's your girlfriend. I'm sure the two of you will manage somehow." Why ask him about her in the first place? Was he hoping he'd reveal they broke up? Even so it still wouldn't change anything.
The two hear keys jingling from outside the door. "Must be Sho."
Natsume immediately dives off the couch to the floor. Kahaku raises an eyebrow but he only signals for him to be quiet.
"Why was the door unlocked?" The question more to himself as the boy closes the door behind him. "I'm home!"
"Hi, how was school?"
"The usual," he replies while slipping off his shoes. He hangs his jacket back in the coat closet, and just as he's coming towards the couch Natsume springs up.
"Welcome home, Sho!"
"Ah!" The boy falls back and Natsume hurls over laughing. Sho growls lowly his sharp glare not leaving the man as he slowly gets back on his feet. "Why are you even here?"
Natsume laughing subsides as he turns to face him. "I thought we could have our rematch today."
Sho agitated is gone only left looking puzzled. "You came here just for that?"
"Well to be honest I had business with your brother too. Still I've been looking forward to our little game. Let's play."
Sho puts the game in and Kahaku watches the two of them racing competitively against each other. Only for Natsume to win again for the third time in a row. "T-That's impossible..."
"Well good try, Sho. Maybe next time."
"How'd you get so good anyway? You never really were a gamer," Kahaku asks.
"So happeningly my little cousin has this exact game. I've been practicing for awhile."
Kahaku hesitates about suggesting that Natsume stays for dinner again. He does want to prove not everything he cooks comes out to be a disaster. For the sake of his career and so not to lose his reunited childhood friend too he needs to push these feelings aside. "Why don't you eat dinner with us again tonight? I made curry rice."
Natsume thinks for a minute but shakes his head. "That's alright. I'm not all that hungry but thanks for the offer." He wonders can he tell Kahaku doesn't truly want him here. Is that why he turned down his invitation? "Tell me how it tastes Sho and why don't we play a different game next time, okay? I'll see you tomorrow, Kahaku." Not waiting for a reply he takes off out the door.
