Walking into the dining room everyone froze in place. Gracelyn cleared her throat to present King Lycan of Ruitha when Hildegard ended up walking towards him with grace in her step.
"Who is this?" Hildegard demanded.
"King Lycan of Ruitha is also known as your worst nightmare." Gracelyn replied smiling.
"Oh, um, hello sir. Welcome to Kingdom Shovia." Hildegard said with pose and politeness.
"THIS! Isn't a welcome. You have killed my only child and I will see to it that you are dead. My daughter did her job to protect Tessa and Gracelyn, you had the nerve to kill her because she was keeping an eye on a future Queen. I will see to it that Gracelyn takes over Shovia from your ruthless family." King Lycan replied with a booming voice.
"She can't rule any Kingdom without being married! I demand my place to stay in my home." Hildegard responded with a stomping of her foot.
Gracelyn looked over to see that Laila had appeared out of thin air but she looked mad like the world had flipped on its side. Gracelyn covered her mouth not to scream though kept pointing behind Lycan as Hildegard stood their stunned like everyone else. Gracelyn realized that Laila became a demon of some sort that is in all black and with horns. It felt like a nightmare in the world of Shovia.
"Father? What are you doing here?" Laila asked in her deep demon voice.
Gracelyn watched as he turned around in horror at his child who had just spoken in a voice he had never heard from her.
"I-I-I came to avenge the death of a princess who stole your life." Lycan stammered.
Gracelyn watched as Laila flew over to Hildegard in an instant then grabbed her throat and lifted her in the air. Gracelyn wanted to scream so badly with the fear of Laila actually going through and killing Hildegard.
"LAILA! PUT HER DOWN, SHE ISN'T WORTH KILLING, WE CAN SEND HER AWAY TO ANOTHER KINGDOM TO DEAL WITH HER. PUT HILDEGARD DOWN!" Tessa yelled in her most authority tone.
"She killed me for watching my sweet Gracelyn and for that she must die in the hands of a demon from the underground. Until her death is accomplished then I will never return as an Angel to watch my two grow into Queen's." Laila snarled with fanged teeth sticking out.
"Hildegard, did wrong but killing her won't solve anything especially when returning you back to an Angel again. You need to release her." Tessa explained gently.
Gracelyn watched in amazement as Tessa kept calming Laila down that enough of it made her put Hildegard back on land. Gracelyn could take the fact of being in control in England but it would make changes on the Queen's and King's regards without being married whether their of age or not. Problem is she is adopted so changing the law is going to take her sister to do so. She isn't a proper Princess for any Kingdom.
"Gracelyn, are you coming home?" Tessa said abruptly from her tangle with Laila.
"Yes! I can't wait to see our parents." Gracelyn replied happily.
Gracelyn looked over at Laila in shackles, Lucy by her side, Larkin and Lacey by Tessa, Lycan behind Laila as Gracelyn lowered her head as she was singled out with no one to be by her side to walk back to Evigon. Gracelyn turned around to look at Hildegard as she looked at her more sincerely than followed the crew.

After a day and a half, Gracelyn felt her world spin upon arriving at Evigon as her parent's Kingdom was actually turned into Tessa's world of darkness and purple. She knew her sister would officially rule again especially since she knew that she couldn't by a long shot. Gracelyn walked into the dining room once again to see her parent's both smile at her with happiness across their faces.
"My dearest Gracelyn, welcome home! Did you find yourself someone out in the world?" Deanna asked politely.
"No, mother." Gracelyn replied with sorrow.
"Such pity." Xavier said with a boom in his voice.
Gracelyn stood their taking anything that they threw at her. Gracelyn knew it would be safe to keep her head down as her father approached her with his thunderous footsteps.
"Who are you waiting to marry?" Xavier asked.
"A pirate, father." Gracelyn replied with her soft voice.
"That is forbidden. I will not allow this." Xavier responded, lifting her head to meet his eyes.
"I really like him, father. He is precious to my soul." Gracelyn replied.
"Then explain why Princess Hildegard of Shovia wants to marry you?" Xavier responded, making her face him as she tried to turn away.
"To be Queen, sir. She is allowed to marry whomever." Gracelyn replied, nervously.
Xavier released Gracelyn's face as he slapped her hard as she felt tears go down her swollen cheek and she landed on the ground hard.
"You are to never leave this Kingdom again and I will see to it that Laila is permanently your watchful eye. Go to your room and do not come out." Xavier said in a thunderous voice.
Gracelyn ran to her room being grateful for her punishment but they don't know that Laila is a demon. As she finally began to drift off to sleep she saw someone at her window.
"Princess, you are to be Queen, no more foolishness with your family." The person said.
"Who are you?" Gracelyn asked.
"Don't ask just get out of that bed and get out of that castle, meet me by the front gates." The person replied.
Gracelyn watched as they flew off, it blew her mind of what kind of creature lurks in the nights and in her world that knows of her. It still taunts her mind to know that she isn't meant to be Queen, that is Tessa duty as the Princess in line of a throne. It took all she could to get showered and changed again for her to be active also to face what is ahead with this new person.
