Ivan has worked for another 45 mins before he is called by Lance to take the document to photocopy for the meeting at 10:30 AM. He is reminded that only photocopy enough for those old geezers. He chuckles at the thought of Lance's face when he said those old geezers.
He goes to his desk and checks how many people will be attending the meeting. He finds the list of the participation and neatly asks Lance that whether the directors know about the meeting or not.
Lance looks up at Ivan across the desk and replied to him, "Not yet, you go and tell them."
He says okay to Lance and proceeds to call their secretaries. He starts to inform them to start with the Financial dept, Marketing, HR (Human Resource), and so on.
Then he goes to the printed machine and prints the whole file out of the computer, next he takes the first file to photocopy into another 6 files.
Finally, he organizes it in an orderly manner on his desk, waiting until the CEO leaves for the meeting he then will deliver the file and distribute it to everyone.
Now the clock is a tick to 10:20 AM. Ivan goes to knock on his boss's door for permission to enter. After he hears the word 'Come in', he turns the doorknob and goes inside.
"Boss, there are 10 mins left before the meeting start. Will you be going now?" Ivan looks up at his boss and sees that his boss is reading a rather thick document.
"Alright, in 2 mins, inform Lance to go too." He put down the document on his desk and put on his suit jacket and the action of putting on the suit jacket is too handsome. However, Ivan has already left the office and is talking with Lance. He cannot see the graceful action of putting on the jacket of his boss.
Ivan takes the documents oh his table and trail behind his boss. His boss walks to another path in contrast to the path that leads to the crowded elevator. He sees that there is another elevator that he doesn't know which has a nameplate above the button up and down that spell 'Exclusive Only'. Secretary Lance walk in first then him and last his boss. Then Lance presses the 55th button.
After the door of the elevator close, Lance leans forward to Ivan and whisper to his ear.
"Next time, you can take this elevator because it leads directly to the 56th floor. Although it is only reserved for the CEO, as his assistant you have permission to ride it," Lance prepare to lean back but he suddenly stops and whispers another thing to Ivan's ear, "For my lunch, get me anything that relates to meat, the more the better."
Ivan glances at Lance dumbfounded because he never thinks that the serious Lance actually talks about food during working hours. Ivan softly replied okay to Lance and that when the elevator's 'Ding' is heard indicates that they have arrived at the 55th floor where all meetings are held.
The trio walks out of the elevator and then go toward meeting room No.2 which can accommodate around 20 people. When they arrive, Ivan has seen that there has already 6 people sit.
The 6 people stand up and said the greeting in union 'Greeting, Mr. Godric'. Andres nods at the people greeting him and then they begin to sit.
Ivan distributes the documents to all 6 people and put the printed one in front of Andres. He returns to stand behind Lance and taking note of how they think work. The meeting continues for 20 mins and it finally finishes only when he hears Andres speaking.
"Alright, do according to that. Dismiss!"
Everybody begins to walk out of the meeting room while saying "Have a good day Mr. Godric!'. Andres nods at everyone that said it. After they all have left, the trio also left the meeting room, return to their office, and do the work that is left until the lunch break comes.
Ivan has done all the work for this morning, so he has some free time before the lunch break. He thinks he should look up today afternoon client for his boss whose name is Fredrick Audrey Radford. As he read the information about him, he is shocked to found that this man is from one among the Giant three families whose status is on the top for a long time.
The Radford Royal Family, Royal Family, doesn't involve in politics like Godric but they're still very powerful and influential to the political party. Likewise, except for politics, the Radford Royal Family involves themselves in any business that they can grab the opportunity.
Fredrick Audrey Radford is the 2nd son of Angelo Louise Radford and Natalie Prescott Radford. Fredrick is in charge of the restaurant and hotel industry among Radford's line of industries.
Basically, Fredrick is the overall CEO of the Radford Group but he chose to be in charge of the restaurants and hotel chains and toss the other business to his brothers and cousins.
His big brother by any chance, Anthony Sheffield Radford, is in charge of the transportation industry which the airlines are the biggest chain.
The most shocking piece of information that he has looked up is that Fredrick is only one year older than his own boss. Oh my god, these people are so freaking powerful.
Ivan suddenly feels like he's back to earth where there were many young billionaires emerge every time and it caused a great impact to those countries that that billionaire resided in.
These intelligent people like them should just die, make people envy them for their fortune. But if they don't emerge, who will pay salary to people like him. He sighs, the world is so unfair.
Suddenly, he heard his phone vibration. He takes it out and sees the message from secretary Lance told him that the lunch break has started, he should go to order the food.
Ivan takes a look at the time and sees it is 11:30 AM. Now he knows this time at lunch break, he replied to Lance back that he is going.
He takes his suit jacket, puts it on, and walk toward the elevator. All of the sudden, his wrist is grabbed by someone, he turns to see who and it turns out to be Lance.
Lance hands him a golden card whose name on is Andres E. De Godric and tells him something, "Take this card with you, all the food will put on the bill in this card when you finish order just hand them the card and they will know. The restaurant is one block from here and there is only one there so it's not hard to find. Go on".
His back is pushed by Lance a little indication that he should go. He says thank you to Lance and take off. At first, he wants to order by phone but Lance advises him to go there in person because it is his first time so the restaurant doesn't trust him enough to have a delivery.
Such an odd rule, but well he quite understands, they just want the credibility of customers before they proceed with the delivery. Moreover, in case something happens like fraud, they will have their alibi and evidence to defend themselves.
He arrives in front of the restaurant entrance after 5 mins walk. Out of the blue, he catches something that is an amazing feast to the eyes.
