I was now on my way back to my apartment with an iced latte in hand, after visiting the post office. I felt that these cold drinks helped with my mental sharpness, especially combating fatigue or tiredness. Hmm...
Why is it such a difficult process to post money to someone?
Oh, The smile that will sweep across my face when He realises that it's me posting him an extra...
Well teehee, that's for another day I thought after sniggering ever so slightly, Sluuurp.

I was now in my room in a specific corner with my laptop turned on. I also had a few devices with wiring connected to the laptop, this was my voice-changing set-up. A tone randomiser every 5 seconds which then connects to a Key Manipulator that switches every 10 seconds. There were a few other devices as part of the set-up but that was the bulk of it.

"Are you the f*ckin' bastard who demolished our buildi-" yelled a masculine voice on the other end before I cut him off,
"Listen very closely, you will refer to me as M., I apologise for the little disruption to your business that I caused. However, your business was running very inefficiently." I continued calmly, "Now, from your accents, I believe you're Dutch. It's pretty impressive that you and your sister managed to export a family business to London. From what I understand though, you only hold small shares in the business compared to some other older generation characters like your father. Correct?"
"Y-Yes" The young man stuttered.
"Now, Finn don't go all stuttery on me" I replied taking an educated guess at his name,
"Bram, but they're both common Dutch names," He said before a thwack was heard over the phone..." but sis it seems like this guy wants to negotiate anyway."
"That would be correct, I have multiple ways to increase the efficiency of your warehouse... and it started from the foundations, everything else had to go. For me to blow up your warehouse, I must have had a detailed understanding of your property. Now, this is my proposition. the Framework and new blueprints provide a 71.3% increased efficiency to your 'operations' " I concluded.
"We don't need it, our old set-up was enough, oh, and we will find you, Goodbye." A feminine dutch voice said before the line hung up.
"Little girls shouldn't play with fire," I remarked with a small grin, "But we will see if you need me or not soon. Very...soon."

It was now almost 6:30 and I was putting a suit on, preparing for that party that my brother had invited me to, I still don't understand why he thinks me being at a party would help him with his social confidence but I guess I do need to support my little brother. He was either on his way to the party or was already there, I, however, had to come home to change out of my casual work clothing.
After, switching outfits for a while, I had finally decided. I put on a double vent suit with a round collar Spencer Hart shirt, an immaculate tie pin and pocket square matching my tie. Walking out of the apartment door, I grabbed my overcoat...
...
In the taxi, I was still thinking about what those two people and the best route to take this. That younger brother seems very easy to manipulate but he is always with his sister which makes things slightly more difficult... Still, I can't have anyone else taking London over. Especially the Dutch.
My eyes glanced over towards the taxi driver, he seemed very unwell. White, Old, White-haired, stiff-necked, droopy eyelids... I continued to observe before I was 50% certain that this man suffered or will start to suffer from the effects of an aneurysm. Casting my eye's to the left of him, He had a picture of two of his children on his dashboard. Now, this is truly a worthy pawn, I thought. I noted down the taxi number and memorised this man's face with accuracy so I could contact him remotely later.
A Very good pawn indeed.

I finally got to the club where this party was going on and found my brother. He was sat at the bar, seemingly drinking his troubles away...
Haah. Sigh. I never was one to give good emotional support but here goes nothing...
I sat at the seat next to him before patting him on the shoulder,
"So what's wrong with you tonight?"
"hah, so you finally got here. That party thing, Yeah, it got cancelled last minute. Nothing much, apart from my wife wanting to divorce me as soon as I called her this afternoon while you were out." He laughed while down his fifth glass of alcohol "After everything we went through, the bitch just leaves me for a fucking accountant, a fucking calculator"
My mind blanked at that point, and this was when another section in my mind fractured. Relationships are the most unstable factor in a human's life. Once someone new who releases the same or even more hormones within you turns up, they seem to forget everything that you went through together. At least they didn't have a child, even though they were planning to.
"Look, I know it probably feels like the world is caving in on you my brother but she was never yours, to begin with. You're probably just better off being single now, but look, there are so many other girls in here. I can guarantee that the sex is going to be better with... " I pause scanning the room for body types and muscle structure, "her. The brown-haired girl." I concluded pointing her out.
"Hah. Bro, you don't need to console me-" He said before I interrupted him,
"No, I mean it. She has the best skeletal structure complementing her muscle mass and ratio."
He glances at me weirdly, pausing for a second before downing the last bit of his glass. He seemed to trust me so he got off of his seat and walked towards the woman who was surrounded by her female friends. I turned around back towards the bar and took my seat again.
I grinned.
This was the least I could do for him coming back from deployment.
Still smiling I simply got lost in my thoughts and possibilities for the future as the music started to drown out everything else but me and the sound of my thoughts.

I looked down at my glass of rum and coke, swirled it around and simply stared at the person who was looking at me. Is this really me? Have I really done everything that actually happened? I wonder, why this life is so boring sometimes though?
*Gulp* I finished my cup of rum and placed the glass back down gently on the counter before getting up and looking around. I saw my brother dancing with the girl I told him about earlier, his smile was truly what stood out and she seemed to grin back at him too. I smiled slightly as well,

I looked around one final time before collecting myself and buttoning up my coat, my brother saw me get up and smiled at me. I smiled back, waving slightly before walking towards the door, and back out into the cold, biting London air with the faint sound of music lingering behind me.
