Sigurd's POV
A few weeks past by. I got the lead female role in the play and Mason got the lead male role. Cassidy was shook when she didn't get in. I just laughed. Mason and his brother still argue. I think Mason is still very well shook in fear because of the fight that happened. We practised our lines with each other until we were confident to do the kiss scene. He looked very confident. I was so scared. I mean kissing someone on stage and this would be my first kiss.
We actually became quite close. "I will always love you and protect you forever." He said putting his hand on his chest. "Likewise to you as well." I say taking his hand in mine. For some reason it didn't feel right, even though it was a play. Today was preparation and lots of rehearsals.
Alpha Steiner's POV
"Alpha!" Darius yelled. "What!" I growled. "Don't come here and start interrupting me!" I roared. "I'm sorry Alpha, kill me if you must, but please hear me out." He said. "Get on with it and don't stand there wasting my time!" I growled. He was trembling in fear. "We found out there's a school production. The girl you say is your mate is the lead role. Mason is also in it." He said. I growled.
"Mason is lead mals role and she is lead female role. I took time to read their script and it turns out that she has to kiss Mason." He said. "We are going to this play. I am not standing for this. There is no way on this earth she is going to kiss him, my brother!" I roared. "I am on your side Alpha, I along with the other Elders advise you to not go to the human world. It is not safe for you there." He said. "This is my mate your talking about. I need her and so does this pack." I said. He bowed his head. "I don't care if you are an Elder, I am still your Alpha!" I growled. "Yes I know. I'm sorry Alpha. If you go I will escort you." He says. "Good. You all can carry me." I say. He laughs a little. "I'm not joking." I say.
I told him to leave me. It should be me on that stage holding her in my arms, not my stupid brother. Gosh I hate him. I am going. It was almost night time so I went to sleep.
The next day I woke up to howling. Who was that!? No one is allowed to howl before me. I walked out of my tent. "What is going on here!" I yelled. They all shot up. "Well one of you speak!" I growled. "I howled Alpha. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I was dared to howl before you." He said. I growled. "Don't do it again." I growled. "I won't Alpha I'm sorry." He said. I won't ever stand for this." James and Cole take him to the Cronoch!" I yelled.
Most people gasped. Until someone spoke out. "Your going to sentence a 6 year old boy to the Cronoch. Your sick, horrible and your a Cold And Heartless man!" The woman cried. I growled. "I do what I want when I want. I am your Alpha so you listen to me. Do not defy me or I shall rip you to pieces!" I roared. She stepped back in fear. "That's what I thought!" I growled. Finally. I tilted my head to wards the sky and howled. Everyone else followed after me. I want Mason to know I'm after him.
Everyone was scared. I mean they should be. I could hear the little boys howls. Eventually it was time to go to the school for the play. "So do I still have to carry you?" He asked. "No. I'll just shift." I say. We shifted and head off. Good thing my clothes didn't get ruined because someone was already waiting there with my original outfit. I need to show Mason that I'm the Alpha and no one can ever defy me. We got to the border of the school. The man was there waiting. I took the rucksack in my mouth and headed behind a tree. Once shifting and getting dressed I was ready to go. "Alpha are you alright?" The man asked. "I'm fine, let's go." I said. "Yes Alpha." They both said.
Once seated in the building, I noticed my wolf getting twitchy. 'What's wrong?' I asked him. 'I hate this, I want mate now. I want out of here.' He says. Oh crap. 'Just wait until the play is over.' I say. He bared mentally in me head and I cut off the link. A few minutes later the play started. When the three of us walked in people stared. We sat down on something. "And what do you call this?" I ask. "A chair sir." Alexander said. I nodded. Soon the play started. Mason came on stage. He'd obviously notice me because of my clothing. I mean tribal clothes are outstanding.
"Oh how I long for my mate!" He said loudly. I knew it was only drama, but I knew he liked her. "Oh she's so far away from here!" He says again. I can't belive what I am seeing. Soon when it came to the middle of the show, time was upon us. The show stopped for a while. "What's happening?" I asked.
"Break time for 1 hour." Alexander said. I continued to sit down. My guards did the same, but sat either side of me. "Hey." I heard someone say. "Who are you?" I ask. "My name is Cassidy, and you are?" She replied. "None of your business." Alex growled. "Whatever. I like your clothing though. Is it costume?" She asked. She sat on my lap. This girl has guts. "No, it's real, handcrafted by my Tailors." I say.
"And get off of me!" I growl, pushing her off. She fell on the floor. "Don't you know space!" I said loudly. I stood up and so did the others. "Why do you keep following him? Are you guys protecting him or something?" She asked. "Indeed we do. He is a very important person to us. You will treat him with respect!" Calvin growled. "What is with your growling?" She asked. "For us growling is natural." I said. "Why do you wear tribal clothing?" She asked again. "Oh look shows starting." Calvin said. She stood up and looked at me. "I'll see you soon." She says winking at me. I growled. "Sorry about that Alpha." Calvin whispered. I nodded.
The show began again. "Oh I've been looking for you for so long." My mate said. I couldn't belive this. "So so long—I can't do this anymore. I can't be the lead." She says and runs off the stage. I stood up and walked into the middle of the Isle. I walked out of the room.
I stood outside trying to sniff her out. I caught a scent and followed it. I saw her under a tree. "Are you okay, clearly your not?" I ask. She jumped. "Don't scare people like that!" She said. I sat beside her. "Tell me what's wrong." I said. "It's Mason. The man I met a few weeks ago, I felt a connection with him." She says. "How strong is this connection now?" I ask. "Very strong, wait..." She said. She looked at me. "I also feel the connection. Its between you and me, not you and Mason. This is suppooed to be our play." I say. "It's called the Alphas Call for a reason." She says.
"Exactly, I'm the Alpha calling for my mate, wondering where she is. Now I have found her." I say. She went super red. "Are you saying we are mates?" She asked putting her hands on my chest. "Yes." I say. "I'm sorry I didn't recognise you before, you just look so different." She says. "I know, it's because I live in the wild." I say. She lays her head on my chest. "This is definitely right." She mumbles.
