Clarity entered the school grounds with her head down, trying to make her very existence unnoticeable, but what hits her every day is inevitable.
"Morning, Calamity" A sharp, feminine voice said
Yep. You guessed it. Time for hell.
Lola Mason, the queen bee, the superiority of the school. Everybody either feared her or admired her. She had perfect teeth, glistening golden hair and deadly crimson lipstick.
She was arm in arm with her boyfriend, Jessie Andrews, the boy whom everybody had a crush on, the stereotypical player. I mean, everything about this couple is stereotypical.
Clarity bit her lip and mumbled a small "M..morning" before speedily walking to her locker.

11th November 2002
Every day after school, the siblings would meet at a place where nobody ever seemed to go, a beautiful garden behind a curtain of ivy. There they would address their problems and help each other. Then just chat for a while, even if they were told off by their foster mother. This part of the day was always filled with tranquility, but this day.. well..
"I can't believe it's exactly 12 years since the fire" Said Clarity, fiddling with a blade of grass.
"Tell me about it, it makes me think about the millions of different outcomes that night could have had"
This would normally be an average conversation, and it might have been the thought of a better life they could have had that made things slightly more dismal, but somehow the siblings made the subject take a sour turn, and were soon in a brutal argument.
Ethan stormed off, his mousy brown hair writhing in the bitter wind.
Clarity rushed after him trying to apologise, but it was too late. It was time for another dramatic scenario change.
The clasp of the locket slid apart and she watched it fall and rotate in the air, her mind making it in to some form of slow cinematic as it hit the ground.
All of a sudden, Ethan collapsed and started heaving, it was vivid he couldn't breathe. Clarity snapped in to action, started panicking, and did all she could to help. She rang the police and waited patiently, watching him fade unconscious before her very eyes. It began pour with rain, drenching her to the bone but she kept on waiting. Kneeling and holding her brother for dear life.
