Chapter 50 - Epilogue v2

I looked at the doors to the court room for just a few minutes, as if I expected him to show up at any moment now. It was normal for him not too, so I felt like it should not be a surprise if he did not. At the same time too how ever, he also knew that these people had killed our only child.

I still was trying to take in all the details that he had told me, but with out him there, it was going to be quite a bit hard for me. I was still taking in the fact that all of those crazy stories that he used to tell me about the illuminati, as well as free masons, they were all real, and I was the one who was in the wrong all along.

Perhaps, if I would have stayed with him all of that time, we would have been able to warn our son, and he might have seen all of it coming, and made it out alive in all of it. I shivered a bit, as I did my best to shake off all of those thoughts that seemed to be racing through my head like crazy right now as well.

I breathed in heavily, as I then pulled out my phone, and tried to see the time on the clock. I pressed on the lock screen a couple of times, but it did not seem to want to turn on, which was of no surprise to me either, as it was typically for my phone to die on me at an important time such as this one.

I was not sure why I would not just buy a new one... I had plenty of money to do so, so that was not the problem for me. I sighed a little bit, as I knew the real answer to that question. It was Mitchell, as I always told my self that I would not let some of the stuff that he had said to me, get in to my head, but this was one of those instances where it had.

I was always worried about the new, and the latest technology, so I often liked to shy away from all of that, as it was just not some thing that I even wanted to play with. I let out a sigh at the same time too, as I knew that those were useless thoughts, and they were not the thoughts that I needed to go in to the court room with.

I still was not too sure what the time was at the moment, as the last time I had looked, was when I had been in my car, and I was getting out to head over to the court room doors, which was where I was at right now, in the middle of some creepy place in Kansas. It kind of gave me chills, being so close to the place that my son had been killed at.

I shook my head, as I let out a little bit of a sigh, as I then remembered whilst I had in fact been in the car, and I had parked mine, that I had seen the time. It had been about 15 minutes before the court case opened, and based off of how long the walk had been, and how long I had been standing in place, the court room could open at any minute now.

I looked around the street that I was on, at the exact same time as well, as I looked at a few of the people at the same time too. I was going to ask what the time was to one of them, but many of them seemed to be in a bit of a rush at the same time too, as I felt like they would ignore me, or they would give me an angry glare as well.

I let out a little bit of a sigh, as I figured that I should just go ahead and go through the doors to the court room. If I even was in fact early, it would not hurt any one. It would hurt me though if I was late how ever. I let out a sigh, as I then nodded to my self, as I turned my head back to the doors to the court.

That was when, I saw a man dressed in all black, staring me down right in front of the court room, as if he was trying to tell me that he was not going to let me in. I shivered a little bit, as I saw a little bit of a creepy smile on his face at the exact same time as well, that made me freak out a bit, as it really did give me some strange, and some weird vibes.

The man then began to walk over to me too, as if he was about to finish me off, and end what it was that they had started with my son. I was now starting to get quite a bit worried that Mitchell was not okay as well, as normally he was always early to things such as this, rather than late.

I moved back, further and further, as I saw the man coming closer and closer to me, making me freak out a lot more as well. I was just about to fall over, and slip in the road, crashing down hard, but some one caught me before I did so, thankfully as well, as it could have been a devastating fall too.

I blinked a few times, still a little bit confused as to what was going on, as I felt quite a bit woozy as well, as I had been drinking a fair amount before all of this, due to the news of what had happened to my son. I looked around as to who had caught me how ever, as I saw that it was a man, and as he nodded to me, and I nodded back to him too, as I listened as to what it was that he had to say to me.

"Watch it lady! You could've got your self killed!" The man said to me at the same time too, as I felt a little bit like an idiot as well, for me not paying any sort of attention to what was going on around me, and where it was that I was even walking over to in the very first place.

The man stared at me for just a little bit more time, as he had his eyes squinted at me at the same time too. I blinked a few times, as the man then all of the sudden let go of me at the exact same time as well. I was grateful for the man, as he could have in fact saved my life, as there was a lot of cars driving down the road at this time of day.

I nodded to the man, as I dipped my head down low to the ground, for perhaps a second or so, as I was not sure as to what it was that I should say to him. Perhaps a simple thanks would be enough, I thought to my self, as I then lifted my head up, as I was about to speak to that same man.

I then blinked a few times, and I began to look around as well, as I saw that the man was no longer to be seen any where around me any more. I was a bit confused, as I had not a single clue as to what was going on at the moment, and what had just happened to me at the same time too.

I let out a bit of a sigh, as I then turned my head back behind me, and back over to the court room, that I had just told my self I was about to go in to, not too long before that had just happened to me. I shook my head, as I was just about to walk over, until I saw the same man that I had seen a few seconds ago, closer than before.

I remembered how that had happened now, as I had been getting as far away from this man as possible. There was no stopping my self from him now how ever, as the man to my surprise, then nodded to me. I blinked a few times, as I was not sure what to do, but I did in fact nod back to him, as I listened to what it was that he had to say to me at the exact same time too.

"Hello Susana! I am David... I am a friend of your ex husband Mitchell... Me and him are in to all of that mumbo jumbo... I also happen to be a lawyer of course... I am going to help you try to win this case..." The man, that went by the name of David in this case, said to me at the exact same time as well.

I looked at the man for just a few seconds, as I was not so sure as to what it was that I should say back to him, as I was still a little bit freaked out by the fact that I had first seen him just staring at me, with quite a creepy smile on his face, as I had already been a bit freaked out as it was before now.

I stared at the man for a few more seconds how ever, as I was not so sure as to what it was that I should say back to him at the same time too either. I was a bit scared, and I really did not want to be here, even though I knew that it must get done. I let out quite a loud sigh after just a few more moments, at the exact same time too.

David, did not seem to be too worried about it how ever, as he still had the same creepy smile on his face, as he nodded to me. Eventually, after just a few more moments too, I then nodded back to him as well. I then blinked my eyes a few times, as I then spoke right back to the man.

"Where is Mitchell? Is he coming?" I asked him, as I felt a lot more safe being with Mitchell, than a man that I had never met before, that I was only going off of the fact that he was some random lawyer that Mitchell was friends with, for some odd reason or another. It all just sounded so crazy, and I was in fact wondering if I was perhaps going crazy.

David looked around for a few more seconds, as I could see quite the worried look, as well as a look of fear on his face at the same time too, for some odd reason or another. Well, I suppose the reason was not all that odd to me at all, if I began to think as to why he would be so afraid in the first place.

I was just as afraid as he was, as I still felt like I was not ready to fully trust the man either, as Mitchell had told me at the same time as well, that I should not trust any one that I meet. Him knowing that he had told me that as well, just did not seem to make all that much sense as to why a random guy that I had never met before would tell me that he was going to be our lawyer.

I shivered a little bit, as I let out quite a loud sigh once again, as David then turned his head back over to me, as he then nodded to me as well. I blinked a few times, as I then nodded back to him at the same time too, still not wanting to get all that close to the man at the same time either, as he began to speak to me, and I listened as to what it was that he had to tell me in the first place.

"He said he was trying to get there, but they have been looking for him like crazy... He knows more about all of this shit than us do... He has been delving in to some deep research over the past few months..." David said to me, as I looked at him for a little bit, as I was starting to feel a little bit more safe as well, as it sounded like some thing that Mitchell would do. This time, when I let out a sigh, it was a sigh of relief. David did not pay any sort of attention to it how ever, as he then continued to speak to me, and I listened to what it was that he had to say to me as well. "Lets go in... They will shut down the court room if we don't get in there soon..."

I looked at the man for a few moments, as I then nodded to him as well, as I remembered that was what I had been worried about before all of this in the very first place any ways. David then nodded back to me too, as he began to head over to the court room, and I followed him through the doors.

I stared down at the ground, a bit hurt on all of this. The lawyer that was on the other side, was for sure a lot better of a lawyer than the one that I had. Even with all the evidence that I had, it still did not seem to matter, as they had kept using the fact that my son Anthony was some how crazy, and they had tried to help him until he had run off.

I knew that was not the case at all how ever, as I had been on the phone with the man, when he had killed my son, and just based off of the smile that he had on his face when he spoke to the judge, I could tell that he knew just as well as I did, that it was me that had been on the phone with my son when it had all gone down.

I wanted to get angry, and blame David at the same time too, but he had done a fairly good job, though he was not nearly as good of a lawyer as the man that they had on their side. I was sure that they must have spent a ton of money on that man, as David more than likely had done this for free, out of respect for his friend.

A single tear dripped from my eye, as I felt like we could have won this case if Mitchell had been here for it. I wanted to blame him for not being here for it as well, but if it was really true about him having to go on the run because the friends of Pat were looking for him, and they were out to kill him, due to the fact that he knew a lot more about this than I did, than it really was not his fault.

I lifted my head up at the same time too how ever, as I stared at the man that went by the name of Pat, who was also the man that had killed my son Anthony as well. He had a big smile on his face, as it was clear that he knew that he had won this court case, and that there was nothing that could be done at this point to stop him.

The trial was over... We had said our parts, and it was up to the judge at this point now. I already knew what his decision was going to be on all of this how ever, as he had made it clear from the beginning, that he did not believe in a word that I was saying about all of that demonic shit, as he did not believe in a God at all.

I stared up at the Judge, as I saw a bit of a blank look on his face, as he slammed the hammer down, making a very loud noise, as he did his best to get the attention of all of the people that were in the court room right now. I heard all of the voices begin to quit talking, as we all looked up at the judge, to hear what it was that he had to say.

"If that is all that needs to be said... Than the case is closed and Pat, you are free to g-" he was about to say the final word, when all of the sudden, I heard a bunch of shuffling, and scuffling going on behind me, as I turned my head over to it, a little bit confused as to what was going on in the first place.

I blinked a few times, as I saw all of the eyes in the crowd, were focused on one thing in specific. Unlucky enough for me at the same time too, I was a bit of a smaller lady, so I could not see over all of the people that were directly in front of me in the very first place any ways.

I heard loud foot steps of what I would assume to be a man, as it seemed to silence the crowd around him at the same time too. I looked at David a little bit confused, as I saw quite the smile on his own face. I tilted my head at first, until it hit me, even before I saw the man that was walking down the corridor over to us.

It was Mitchell... He had got here in just the knick of time. I could not help but wipe the tears off of my face, as a big smile then popped up on to the face of mine at the same time too, as I saw Mitchell walk up to the very front, as he began to play a bunch of audio on his phone at the same time too.

I realized as to what it was right away... It was the audio of the phone call that I was on, when Pat had killed my son. I could not help but smile by it either, even though I knew that this was nothing to be happy about. I shook my head, as I heard all of it, and so did the crowd of people in the court room.
