They were in the big living room where the light from the fire was reflecting on their faces. The crackling noise of the fireplace was soothing to the ear. They had turned the lights off because the setting itself was more pleasing than ever. The nice twilight colour was reflecting in their eyes. They were wrapped in cosy blankets with their arms holding their loved ones close. Their voice was close to whispering. No one wanted to break the feeling of this warm situation which was even rapping their hearts.
"I didn't know you were in the track team", Mika looked up to Noah as she was sitting on her lap. This time she did it without even realising it. Maybe the comfort was making her forget her worries.
"Yeah, this guy just dragged me around", he frowned.
"It's not my fault, is it?", Nate stared at him. "Not to mention I had to be on library duties with you even though I wasn't a part of it".
