There, you stood in the inky black night, shivering in the cold and knocking on the window pane.
You stood there like you never did a thing wrong.
You were beautiful and oblivious Valery Robert again.
You gestured wildly for me to escape through the window—as you did.
But I wasn't leaving Micheal.
He was my best friend. We had fond memories of one another and listened to music together.
