What's that supposed to mean? Sol asked himself. Bonn has the same type as me, I mean look at Eleven. We both like Eleven. Bonn dresses like me too. Sol continues. Maybe I should suggest getting a gift's that something horrible.
Maybe— just maybe, what if it's me that she'd give the gift to? Sol continues to ponder while walking slowly with his head facing the floor. Maybe I'd just get something decent? Nah, that's stupid. Sol scratches his head. I mean why would you ask the person you'd give a gift to on a gift-finding trip? I mean that's just plain stupid.
"Sol, you're lagging behind!" Eleven shouted from a distance. They then slowly enter a department store.
While browsing items, Eleven grabs a teddy bear.
"Do you like this for a gift?" Eleven asks.
"Hmm, to cheesy." Sol replies.
"I think it's cute" She reciprocates.
"I thought he was male?"He answers.
"Oh right," Eleven laughs awkwardly. She then grabs a silver watch.
"What about this?" she asks.
"Too lavish"
"This, then?" Eleven asks as she grabs a notebook.
"Too educational"
"Maybe he'd like to make a diary"
"Really Eleven?" Sol laughs. "A diary for a male 'friend'?"
"I don't know. Don't guys make diaries?"
"No they don't" Sol answers as he laughs. Then, on the corner of his vision, he spots a male pendant with the Superman logo. He slowly walks to that direction, while Eleven catches up to her.
"Do you like that pendant?" Eleven asks.
"I don't know, I like it but it's probably not that person's style."
"I'd take that, then." Eleven smiles and heads to an attendant.
"Wait—" Sol says as he tries to catch up to Eleven.
"Pack it up, please." Eleven asks the attendant.
"Eleven? That pendant has an S initial on it, is it for me?" Sol asks with a big grin.
"No, dummy. By the way, that's not a typical 'S' mark, that's Superman's mark." Eleven replies, "It's a mark for my very own Superman." Eleven grins.
"Here, you go miss." The attendant gives Eleven a packed pendant. "I have received your payment. Do you mind if I'd give you coins instead of bills?" The attendant continues.
"Keep the change, please." Eleven answers.
Both head out of the department store. Sol's still dumbfounded that Eleven has found her "Superman" already. He's sulking.
"Sol, let's get ice cream, my treat." Eleven asks Sol.
"No, thanks." Sol answers timidly.
"Please, I really want to eat some Cookies and Cream."
"Get one yourself." Sol answers coldly.
"Please?"
"No thanks"
"Are you angry?"
"No"
"You are"
"Am not"
"Yes— you are"
"Am not"
"Yes, you are. Why are you angry?" Eleven asks Sol.
"Someone's getting a gift from you. What about me?" Sol replies in a cute tone.
"Fine. I'd get you a gift later, but for now, the ice cream's my promissory gift, okay?" Eleven replies while chuckling. "So what flavor do you like?"
"Mhmmlate" Sol answers with a muffled tone, imitating a sulking child.
"What?" Eleven laughs.
"Chocolate." Sol answers promptly.
"Okay. I'd get one for you."
"No, let me hold it for you." Sol says as he smiles and follows Eleven.
After having finished the short ice cream break, Eleven asks another favor from Sol.
"Sol, you know" Eleven asks Sol as they walk together on the mall's hallway. "I really want to go to the carnival near the mall."
"Sure. Have they opened yet? I heard games starts rolling at seven in the evening."
"I'm pretty sure they have already. It's 7:30 already."
"Really?" Sol asks in astonishment. "Are you hungry already?"
"Nope, I'm quite feel full."
"Same." Sol laughs. "So let's go?"
Both head off to the carnival. The carnival was full of people, all having their own kind of fun. There were many games but first, they tried the shooting games, in which Eleven sucks at, while Sol exceeds on.
"I sucked at that." Eleven states, while she lets out a sigh of disappointment.
"That's fine," Sol answers. "Here. So you'll be less gloomy, let's make a deal. I give you my prize, I'll let you pick, but in return, stop being so sulky okay?"
"I'm sulky? Weren't you the sulky one earlier?" Eleven replies.
"Well— do you want the prize or not?" Sol threatens Eleven.
"I'd like that moon bracelet with a custom marking."
"Sure." Sol affirms. He then asks the moderator if they can get that custom marked bracelet. "What marking would you want on the bracelet Eleven?"
"Secret." Eleven smiles as she runs to the moderator whispering the marking she wants.
After having claimed their prices, both of them head to the rides. Eleven soon finds out that Sol's terribly afraid of heights, while Sol finds out how Eleven likes chilling rides. Looking at his wristwatch, Sol noticed the time.
"Eleven, can we go somewhere after this?" Sol asks her.
"Sure, where?"
"It's a secret."
"Secret? Is it a weird place?"
"No, silly." Sol laughs. "We'll be going to the university."
"At this time of the night?" Eleven asks.
"Yep."
"Why?"
"I told you, It's a secret." Sol teases Eleven.
"Fine." Eleven concurs.
