A/N: How long has it been since a double upload? Quite a while right. I've been more motivated for this story these past few days than I have in months. I hope you all enjoy the chapter. Rhino out.

Topaz: "I've spoken to her Winter, and it was pretty easy to read her then."
Winter: "You what?!"
Topaz: "It's like this…"
Topaz looks off into the horizon while gathering his thoughts. Taking a deep breath, he looks back towards Winter.
Topaz: "When I was helping out around here, Ironwood sent me to Menagerie to take care of a strange movement of grimm. It was in the desert of Menagerie that I ran into this humanoid looking grimm, mid fight with it, it stopped mid attack and then a feminine voice came from it. She tried to convince me to come to her side so no one I loved would be hurt."
Winter: "What did you say?"
Topaz: "What do you think I said? I told her no without a moments hesitation. Do I want those I care about to live a carefree life, yes. Am I willing to endanger the world for that, Oum no. It was there I realized something."
Winter: "What did you realize?"
Topaz: "Salem is scared of me. Maybe not me alone, but all of us with silver eyes. Mine don't even have the same powers that Ruby and her mothers' do. But it was that entire discussion, and then the fight after that I could tell Salem was trying to figure out how to hurt me. She couldn't so anything physically at the time, so she went for a mentally attack."
Winter: "So you're saying that Ruby and yourself are the key to defeating Salem?"
Topaz: "Everything I'm saying winter is pure speculation on my own part. Maybe we aren't the key itself, but we are a piece of the puzzle that is her defeat."
Winter: "Why is everything so complicated Topaz."
Topaz: "If it wasn't Ozpin would have beaten her a long time ago."
Winter: "I guess you're right."
Topaz hears footsteps coming form behind him so he turns to see a random soldier from the Atlas Military running towards him and Winter.
Soldier: "Specialist Schnee!"
Winter: "What is it?"
Soldier: "There is movement in front of that massive grimm."
Winter: "What kind of movement?"
Soldier: "We didn't get a good look, but it almost look like the wanted Huntsmen and Huntresses that General Ironwood put out a bounty for."
Winter: "What are they doing?"
Soldier: "Well, it looks like the four of them were heading straight towards the mouth of that massive grimm."
Topaz: "Four?"
The soldier turns to Topaz, sneers at him and then looks back towards Winter.
Soldier: "I don't have time to waste explaining to you animal."
Winter: "Which four."
Soldier: "…"
Winter: "Which four, now."
Soldier: "B-But."
Winter: "NOW!"
Soldier: "From the look we got, it was the blonde girl, the blonde guy, the red head, and the black haired guy or girl with the pink strip in their hair."
Topaz: "Yang, Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren by the sounds of it."
Winter: "What are they doing, I told them to lie low. Thank you for the information soldier, back to your post."
The soldier gives Winter a quick salute before turning and running back to where he came from.
Topaz: "Any ideas what they are doing?"
Winter: "Sadly yes, and you aren't going to like it."
Topaz: "What is it?"
Winter: "That boy Oscar was taken by an intelligent grimm a few days ago."
Topaz: "What!?"
Winter: "The four of them were chasing after it when they were stranded out in the tundra. I was out on a patrol with the ace ops and spotted them. The ace ops arrested them and then we returned here. When no one was looking, I released them and told them to lie low."
Topaz: "And let me guess, Oscar was taken into that massive grimm."
Winter: "You guessed right."
Topaz: "Just great. Guess I know what I'm doing then."
Winter: "Topaz you can't, its suicide."
Topaz: "Probably, but if there's a chance I can save Oscar and keep the rest of them alive then so be it. By the way, where are the rest of their teams?"
Winter: "According to the alerts, they were seen in the military base yesterday. The ace ops had a fight with them, and Penny and they got away. From what they told me, Nora absorbed a massive amount of electricity and had burns all over her body so they are more than likely lying low and treating her wounds."
Topaz: "It just doesn't end. We don't have time to be fighting amongst ourselves with such a massive threat at our door."
Winter: "I understand that, but to the ace ops, their pride was crushed when they fought team RWBY when they initially escaped. And General Ironwood… General Ironwood isn't all there at the current moment."
Topaz: "Well then I guess I'm going to do what I can to get everyone's heads out of their asses."
Winter: "And how do you plan on doing that?"
Topaz: "I'm just going to do what I do best, help the people that need it and fight grimm. Show everyone the enemy we should be focusing on."
Winter: "Good luck with that."
Topaz: "Thanks, now I'll be going, my friends might need some help."
Winter: "There's no changing your mind is there?"
Topaz: "Not a chance."
Winter: "Very well then. I'll try and keep things in line out here while you do what you can inside. Be careful please."
Topaz: "I'll try, and will see you when I get back."
Topaz turns and rushes off towards the massive whale looking grimm. Changing into a hawk to get there quicker while remaining inconspicuous, he arrives in a matter of minutes. Landing and transforming back to normal, Topaz finds a route to get into the creature. Hearing a low rumble, Topaz's guard goes on full alert. The massive grimm begins opening its mouth and Topaz can hear the sound of moving liquid. Realizing the grimm is about to spit out another wave of the black sludge Topaz tenses his legs and prepares to run.
Topaz: "Here goes nothing…"
As soon as the creatures mouth opens wide enough, Topaz is in a full sprint and then leaps over the wave of the grimm sludge. Using his spear as a grounding, he balances on the spear with the tip of it imbedded in the grimm's mouth. After a few moments the wave of sludge ends and the creatures mouth closes. Looking around inside the creature's mouth, Topaz notices that inside almost looks like it's a structure. Pathways hang in the air with different struts going up and down everywhere.
Topaz: "Now where did you four go?"
Sniffing around, he picks up the familiar lilac scent of Yang. Following the scent he finds the four of his friends looking kind of ridiculous, sneaking around like you'd see in an old cartoon. Walking up behind them quietly without the extra theatrics, he taps Jaune on the shoulder. Jaune lets of a "manly" squeal and falls onto his ass.
Jaune: "Don't hurt me!"
Topaz: "Really Jaune…"
Yang: "Topaz? Is that you?"
Jaune: "Hey Yang, Pyrrha, Jaune."
Pyrrha: "Topaz, it's so nice to see you again."
Jaune: "That was mean Topaz, but I am happy to see you again."
Yang runs over and hugs Topaz tightly, and Topaz happily hugs her back.
Yang: "I missed you Topaz. What have you been up to since everything happened?"
Topaz: "I missed you too Yang. I've been hanging around Patch with everyone and just training."
Yang: "How are things back home."
Topaz: "From when you guys visited, not much."
Yang: "After what had changed when we had visited, I was expecting you to tell me something lifechanging again."
Topaz: "Ha ha, not this time. So, Oscar is in here somewhere?"
Jaune: "How did you know about Oscar, and how did you know we were in here?"
Topaz: "I ran into Winter as one of her men reported seeing you four moving around here."
Jaune: "Oh. What did Winter all tell you?"
Topaz: "Outside of everything going to shit? Not a whole lot I wasn't expecting."
Topaz then hears a scream from somewhere deeper inside. Tensing up and looking in the direction of the scream, his friends became alert.
Yang: "What did you hear?"
Topaz: "A scream."
Pyrrha: "How far?
Topaz: "A little ways off. Just how big is it inside of here?"
Jaune: "So what now?"
Topaz: "We push on."
