Topaz: "Uh, hey Qrow. A little more sober this time?"
Qrow: "I'm always sober."
Topaz: "…"
Qrow: "Fine, yes I am more sober than what I was last night. How are you alive?"
Topaz: "Qrow, did you really think that a fall would be the end of me? I thought you knew me better than that."
Qrow: "You little brat. I haven't seen anything of your semblance, you don't exactly go around flaunting it."
Topaz: "For good reason."
Qrow: "Yeah, I guess you're right. So, who all knows?"
Topaz: "Well, the professors here know, my family, Neo, Ariel, General Ironwood found out last night and will be telling Ruby and her team along with team JNPR."
Qrow: "So I'm the last to find out? That hurts Topaz."
Topaz: "I didn't realize you were so sensitive Qrow."
Qrow: "Shut it brat."
Topaz: "Emma and I are going to head to Patch. Have a good one Qrow."
Qrow: "Sure, do what you want. I'm going to talk with Glynda for a little while. I'll probably head over when we are done. See you then brat."
Topaz: "Sure thing old man."
Qrow: "You little brat. I have plenty of-"
Goodwitch: "Ahem. What are you doing here Qrow?"
While Qrow began his conversation with Professor Goodwitch, Topaz motions for Emma to follow him out of the building. Once outside, they begin to make their way to the southern gate to begin the trek home.

*knock knock knock*
Three swift knocks are heard on the front door of the Schnee Mansion. Moments later the doors are opened by Klein, revealing General Ironwood.
Klein: "Good morning General Ironwood. To what do we owe the pleasure? I do not believe that you were requested to come by."
Ironwood: "Morning Klein. You're right, this is an unannounced visit. I learned some new information that Winter will be happy to hear."
Klein: *sigh* "I don't know what happened that day, but whatever it was has hurt her, and I am not very happy with you because of that."
Ironwood: "I understand Klein. I promise that this is good news."
Klein: "I will ask Miss Schnee if she wants to hear it. Please wait here until I return."
Klein turns and quickly makes his way further into the mansion. After a few minutes he returns to where he left General Ironwood with a very upset looking Winter in tow.
Winter: "What part of I would return when I was ready didn't you understand General Ironwood. And you come up with this bullshit excuse involving Topaz. Just how low can you get."
Ironwood: "Winter. You have every right to be upset with me but-"
Winter: "I know I have every right to be upset!"
Soon the front entrance to the mansion is filled with team RWBY and Willow Schnee, who heard the shouting and came to see what it was.
Weiss: "Winter, is everything ok?"
Ironwood: "Everything is-"
Winter: "Enough General! Just leave!"
Ironwood: "Topaz is alive."
Winter: "…what?"
Ironwood: "Topaz is alive and well."
Winter: "You're lying."
Ironwood: "I am not. I spoke with him myself."
Winter: "When?"
Ironwood: "Yesterday I went to Vale to speak with Glynda Goodwitch and warn her about a minor breach in our systems, which have since been taken care of. While I was there I spoke with Glynda and met Emma, the girl his grandfather was looking for. Eventually I went into the hallway to leave and there he was."
Winter: "When is he coming back?"
Ironwood: *sigh* "He's not Winter. He's decided to take time off for himself to spend it with his family."
Ruby: "Told you he was fine Weiss."
Ironwood: "You knew Miss Rose?"
Ruby: "I didn't know for sure, but I was pretty sure he was ok. I think Yang and I know his semblance the best outside of him, Neo and Ariel."
Ironwood: *sigh* "I shouldn't even be surprised by this anymore. He is alive and well and staying back in Patch for a while. He told me the only people I can share this information with was your team Miss Rose and team JNPR. Alongside Winter."
Winter: "He told you to tell me he was ok?"
Ironwood: "Yes."
Winters cheeks turn a light shade of pink, which no one notices outside of Willow. With a sly smile, Willow turns and makes her way down the stairs and in front of General Ironwood.
Willow: "You've brought us good news today James, but I am still not happy with you for what you did. I will kindly ask that you leave for today, and for you not to expect Winter back on duty for a while."
Ironwood: "Very well Willow. Miss Rose and Miss Xiao Long, if you would like to return home for a little break, feel free to do so."
Ruby: "Sounds good to me! It'll be nice to see mom and dad again."
Yang: "And it'll be nice to see Topaz."
Ruby: "Yeah."
Willow: "James, I will be taking Winter, Weiss and Blake along with me for a little vacation of our own."
Ironwood: "Willow, I'm sorry but I can't have all of my best operatives leaving at once."
Willow: "Well that's too bad for you James, because I don't care. We will set out tomorrow."
Ironwood: *sigh* "Fine Willow, do what you wish."

Topaz: "We can take it easy from here on out Emma."
Emma: *pant pant* "Thank the brothers for that. You really are a monster, you know that?"
Topaz: "So I've been told by quite a few people. You know you could have told me to slow down at any point, right?"
Emma: "Hmph, I know that. But I wanted to push myself."
Topaz: "I don't know how you are so tired, we ran the whole way in our lion forms."
Emma: "Not all of us have such a monstrous amount of aura Topaz."
Topaz: "Ah, true. I forgot about that, sorry."
Emma: "Hey Topaz, has that house always been there?"
Topaz: "Which one? Oh, no. That one is brand new."
Emma: "Do you know who is living there?"
Topaz: "Yeah, Raven Branwen has decided she wanted a change of pace after getting attached to a little girl she rescued."
Emma: "Yang's mom?"
Topaz: "The very same."
Emma: "Does Yang know?"
Topaz: "Not yet. I'm really not too sure how she will react when she does find out though."
Emma: "Only time will tell."
The two make their way down the road until the eventually arrive at the Xiao Long/Rose home. Hearing some laughter from the backyard, the two walk around the house and see everyone gathered together. The first to notice their arrival was Yue, who quickly runs over and throws herself at Topaz with a bright smile.
Yue: "Topaz!"
Topaz: "Hey Yue. How are you?"
Yue: "I'm good! Who is that Topaz?"
Topaz: "Yue, this is my cousin Emma. Emma, this is the girl I was telling you about."
Emma: "Hi Yue, it's nice to meet you."
Yue: "It's nice to meet you too."
Sara: "Welcome back Emma, how did things go in Vale?"
Emma: "Thank you Sara, they went quite well up until a couple days ago."
Sara: "What happened?"
Topaz: "Four of Atlas's specialized robots were sent after her."
Sara: "Are you ok Emma!?"
Emma: "Yes, I'm fine. Luckily Topaz arrived just in time to help out with them."
Tai: "What is James thinking?"
Topaz: "It wasn't him."
Tai: "What?"
Topaz: "General Ironwood decided to pay Professor Goodwitch a visit."
Sara: "Oh no!"
Topaz: "Apparently there was a breach in Atlas security which enabled someone to authorize missions under General Ironwood's name."
Summer: "How do you possibly allow that?!"
Topaz: "Who knows Summer. He says it was fixed, but who knows."
Alex: "What did he say when he saw you?"
Topaz: "He apologized. Before he even saw me, Professor Goodwitch and Emma ripped into him quite a bit."
Sara: "Good. Teach him to mess with my baby."
Topaz suddenly hears something approaching quickly, and turns to see just what it is. As he turns, he feels something small, but solid impact his chest, sending him to the ground.
Neo and Ariel: "Topaz!"
Topaz: "Ugh, I'm ok."
Looking to see what hit him, Topaz is surprised to see a familiar pair of silver eyes looking into his own. Then from the corner of his vision, he sees the rest of team RWBY along with Winter and Willow approaching with smiles on their faces.
Topaz: "Hey Ruby."
