[Atlas]
Ironwood: "Have you had any luck finding his body?"
Winter: "Nothing yet sir. It doesn't help that some of the men don't care very much since Topaz was a faunus. Add in that the tundra is as dangerous as it is and the snow hasn't stopped, I'm really not sure if we will ever be able to find it."
Ironwood: "Gods, what have I done."
Winter: "With all due respect sir, you messed up bigtime. This was Topaz we were talking about, all you had to due was put your faith into him and his achievements."
Ironwood: "I know. To learn that it was all for nothing just twisted the knife even deeper."
Winter: "For nothing sir?"
Ironwood: "Yes, after Topaz fell, his grandfather left without a trace, leaving only a note saying that since Topaz fell the way he did, he would not be supporting us."
Winter: "And you are just going to let him get away with it?!"
Ironwood: "What other choice do I have Winter? The people of Atlas matter more than one old man."
Winter: "You have changed General Ironwood. After everything Topaz did for us, you won't even give him the honor of chasing after the one responsible for his death."
Ironwood: "Winter."
Winter: "I am taking time off sir. Do not bother trying to contact me until I decide to return."
Ironwood: "Very well. I'm sorry Winter."

Yue: "Woah! We're flying! This is so cool!"
Raven: "Yue, be careful."
Topaz: "She'll be fine. Let her enjoy her first time flying."
Raven: "I'm just worried something will happen. What's wrong with me?"
Topaz: "Nothing. You're just being protective. It's kind of strange to see."
Raven: "If you don't shut up, I am going to smack you."
Topaz: "There we go, that's the Raven I know."
Raven: "You're an ass, you know that."
Topaz: "Sure do."
Yue: "Topaz, there's a bird! Look, look!"
Topaz: "That's awesome Yue. Why don't you come here and sit for a bit, we will be landing soon."
Yue: "Ok."
Yue walks over to Raven and Topaz and sits down between the two of them. Raven picks up Yue and sits her on her lap. After a few minutes Yue falls asleep in her arms.
Topaz: "She looks so content. And you look pretty happy yourself."
Raven: "I don't know what you are talking about."
Topaz: "You're lucky I don't have my scroll to get a picture of this. Or unlucky I guess."
After another hour or so, the airship begins to make its decent, eventually landing on the outskirts of Patch. Feeling the ship land, Topaz gets to his feet and walks over to the pilot, handing him a bundle of Lien.
Topaz: "Thanks for the ride, have a safe trip back."
Pilot: "Hey, no problem Topaz. After what you did for me it's the least I could do. Have a good time here."
Following Raven and Yue out of the ship, Topaz looks around and takes in the familiar landscape. After a few moments, Topaz leads Raven and Yue towards the oh so familiar wooden cottage. As he gets closer, he hears someone crying inside the house. Hoping it's nothing bad, Topaz knocks on the door. After a few moments, Tai opens the door with sad puffy eyes.
Tai: "I'm sorry, but could you leave us alone for a while. We just found out that someone very close to us won't be coming home."
Topaz: "Who?"
Tai: "My nephew Topaz. *sniff* The kid was always doing too much for one person. I always feared something like this would happen."
Topaz: "Tai… would you look at me?"
Tai: "Brothers above, I can still hear his voice."
*SLAP*
Raven: "Tai, you dense manchild. Would you look at who is right in front of you!"
Tai: "Hey! That's not very… Raven? What are you doing here? And what do you mea- TOPAZ?! YOURE OK!"
Topaz: "Yes, I'm fine. I will explain everything to everyone all at once to make it easier on myself."
Tai: "Ok, please come on in."
Walking into the house, Tai leads Topaz and the others into the living room, where he sees his father holding his little sister and his mother hugging Summer.
Tai: "Everyone, there is someone that you all need to see here."
Summer: "Tai, I love you, but we are really not in the mood for any visitors. Please tell them to go away and come back again some other time."
Tai: "Summer, look at me."
Everyone turns to look at Tai and see Topaz standing next to him. Smiling gently, Topaz gives them a small smile and waves at them.
Topaz: "Hey everyone, it's good to see you all again."
Sara: "Topaz!"
Jumping to her feet, Sara rushes over and squeezes Topaz in a solid hug.
Sara: "My baby is ok."
Alex: "If you are ok, then why did we get a note saying that you were killed?"
Topaz: "That's because to everyone on Atlas I am dead."
Sara: "But why? Weren't you doing a bunch of jobs for Atlas?"
Topaz: "Yes, I was. But some stupid old man decided that he had to spread lies to General Ironwood to get back at me."
Alex: "Who would dare do such a thing?"
Topaz: "The same old man that forced me to be separated from you guys when I was younger."
Sara: "Your grandfather is behind all this?"
Topaz: "Yes, he came to General Ironwood and somehow convinced him that I had kidnapped Emma when we left the tribe behind. I was handcuffed and dragged across the school without being able to give my story, and thrown into a small holding pod. I escaped and went towards the edge of Atlas where General Ironwood caught up to me. He gave me the choice of either come willingly, or be shot. I was not about to be paraded around like some sort of trophy by the anti-faunus soldiers again, so I told him to shoot me."
Sara: "Why on Remnant would you ever tell someone to shoot you!"
Topaz: "Oh yeah, I learned that bullets can't even break my skin."
Alex: "You really are a monster, you know that."
Topaz: "Yep. That's why I'm not overly worried about Neo or Ariel with this. They know my abilities as well as I do. But getting back to the topic on hand, General Ironwood froze, not expecting me to refuse him like that. Seeing him freeze up like he did, I made things easy for him, and let myself fall backwards. I fell back and let gravity do its thing, and once I couldn't see General Ironwood leaning over the edge any longer, I changed into the hawk form, and landed safely."
Tai: "What is James thinking?"
Topaz: "Don't know, don't care."
Summer: "First, I am very glad to see you alive and well. And secondly, just why are you here with Raven of all people?"
Topaz: "After everything that happened, I just wanted to get away from Mantle and Atlas, so I rode in an acquaintances airship to an undocumented forest and jumped out. I accidentally ran into Raven there and she asked me for some help with the adorable little girl that's in her arms right now."
Summer: "Who is the girl Raven?"
Raven: "Her name is Yue. A while ago, I found a small black cat injured in that forest, and decided to take it in and help heal it. After a few days with the cat, I woke up one morning and the cat was now a little girl. Thanks to Topaz, we were able to learn that her home was attacked by the White Fang and she was able to escape by unlocking her semblance. Because of him, she has started speaking and genuinely looks happy."
Yue: "Momma, who are they?"
Raven: "Momma?"
Yue: "Yes, you are my momma now, right?"
Raven: "If that is ok with you."
Yue: "Mhmm."
Raven: "Well Yue, these are some of momma's old friends."
Sara: "I don't think I've ever seen you this gentle Raven."
Tai: "Admittedly, neither have I."
Raven: "Both of you shut up. I know I messed up with Yang, ok. Topaz, could you take Yue and your sister outside so I can tell them everything."
Topaz: "Sure, come here girls. Let's go play outside."
Yue: "Yay!"
Haley: "Ok Topaz."
