Valerian hunched over and the sound of bones shifting and clothes tearing was heard.
Two metallic bones shot out. They were red and silver and as thich as a baby's forearm.
They had a combined length of twenty metres and shone with a murderous aura.
"That felt good." Valerian shook as though he just completed stretching.
"I remember those!" Emrys laughed and clapped his hands. "I missed them!"
"I am sure you did." Valerian responded sarcastically. "[Blood Chrysalis]"
The crimson chrysalis formed for the battle between Valerian and Emrys.
Emrys looked around and frowned.
"What is this? You did not use this one last time."
"You are not as strong as you were last time." Val responded.
"Neither are you." Emrys sneered then pointed to the primordial gods who were still watching quietly. "What about them?"
"Is this going to be between you and I?" Valerian asked.
"Of course. They can go...only this time, my host, Loki really did not like them. He wants to kill them but consider this my gift to you." Valerian nodded to Emyrs but still had a distrustful look in his eyes.
The vampire turned to look at the gods. "Go back, I will deal with you lot later!" he roared.
The gods did not need to be told twice. Valerian waved his hand and a portal to the divine realm opened. The gods turned into beams of light and shot through but before the portal closed Emrys raised his hand and flexed his fingers. A ball of powerful energy shot out aimed for the portal.
Valerian ran then crouched and stood in its way, one of the ten metre metallic bones arched forward and a black leathery wing descended from the bone, shielding Valerian and the portal. The ball came into contact with the massive wing a large explosion occured. The portal closed and Valerian was pushed one step back.
A little smoke and soot rose and fell where the wing and Emyrs' attack made contact. Valerian shook the wing and it retracted back into his bone structure.
"That was underhanded and you pissed me off." Valerian said.
"I wanted to see how much those insects meant to you. I did. A bonus, though, was seeing that your wings healed nicely, especially after I shredded them so much last time. Very nice." Emrys was provoking Valerian and it worked.
Valerian and Emrys charged each other. Emrys put mana into his hands and two long blazing mana weapons encompased his hands. His mana blades and Valerian's skeletal weapons clashed. Red and blue sparks flashed. A crater formed under them but neither fell into it.
Emrys was the first to break contact and flip backwards. He ran towards Valerian's flank. Valerian acted. He jumped back and put space between himself and Emrys but was also refusing to let the arrogant fool gain more momentum.
"[Walk Of Giants]" Valerian activated the skill then raised his foot and stomped down with enough care not to crater the entire area. The ground moved as if it were waves of water and flung Emrys into the air.
The Traveller was quick, with logic defying speed, he set himself and his shock straight but Valerian was quicker.
Just when Emrys was floating in the air, two sharp pains made him howl like a wounded animal.
He turned his head and Valerian was above him. Both the vampire's skeletal weapons had been deeply lodged into his shoulders, trying to push him down into the ground.
Emrys snarled and swung at Valerian. The blades tore Valerian's shirt and cut across his chest and arms. His blood disappeared the moment it came into contact with the air. This was usually a good thing.
No one knew how to contain, Valerian's blood and no one could steal it but the problem was that his wounds were not healing and the blood would not clot.
"Arrgh!!!!" Valerian roared. He abandoned the idea of pinning down Emrys. He moved his skeletal weapons and flung the transgressor with all his fury and strength.
"[Speed of Hermes][Strength of Zeus][Blood Armour] [Armoured Blood Chrysalis] [Reality Lock] " Valerian activated five skills in nano-seconds.
His speed and Strength increased tenfold. The blood from his wound flowed out in a massive amount and formed a red knightly armour.
The crimson battle arena grew in size and became, reinforced and spiked. It looked horrific but it was necessary for what was about to occur.
The world turned grey and nothing, not even the worms in the ground, if any were left, had the ability to move.
It would last for thirty seconds but it was more that enough for someone who was now capable of traveling at a third of the speed of light.
Valerian launched himself at Emrys, fists first. The blows had long broken the speed of sound. Valerian could not be seen. His speed made him invisible even to the supernatural eye.
Emrys was still in the same spot he had been in when reality locked, after being flung by Valerian, in mid-air about to crash into the barrier.
Reality began to unlock when there were ten seconds left. When five seconds were left, Emrys was capable of blinking.
3...2...1
Cuts, wounds, piercings, curses and mutilation marks began to form all over Emrys' body.
Valerian crashed into the ground, exhausted and wheezing. The poison in his body was still active and had progressed further.
"AAAAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!" Emrys' tortured scream, ironically, was like asprin to Valerian's wounds.
BOOOM!!!!
BOOOM!!!!
BOOOM!!!!
...
...
...
BOOOM!!!
The sound of Emrys being launched back and forth, again like a rag doll, crashing into the dome, into the ground, into trees. Centuries of torture and continuous thumping was being enacted before Valerian's eyes. The toll it took on his own health was worth this sight.
