{The Divine Realm}
In a huge building, thousands of gods were gathered. Some in debate, some uncaring and others watching the empty thrones of the Primordial Gods.
There was a large orb displaying Valerian killing Bishop Daniel Ferris and how he threatened a storm that held the god Mars' consciousness and called him by his true name, Ares.
"He is back! I swear on my sword!" A man with a black beard and a sliver crown roared. He sat on a marble throne and the sound of clashing weapons followed his voice like wars occurred everytime he spoke in anger. "He knew my true name! His voice was the same, His eyes were the same and that arrogance...!"
"Ares, calm down!" A woman reading a book looked at him in frustration.
"How can I calm down! The godsbane walks the mortal realm again! We should summon our armies and attack Him now!" The god of war spoke again.
"The godsbane died a long time ago, Ares, why do you think you saw Him?" A kid with dark blue hair smiled diplomatically at the raging deity.
"Be quiet, you trickster! You were not even a divine spirit in this realm two thousand years after He disappeared! You do not know what we know and I know that He lives!"
"If He truly lives then why did you not fight Him?" Another woman asked, she had red hair and murderous yellow eyes.
"You are the same as the trickster! You are a fool, whose power cannot compare to ours, the Greater gods. You know not the suffering and death He caused. Where He walks, blood flows and Graces fall!
"You, a goddess of competition and slaughter, your entire existence as a bringer of death, can not have seen even a fraction of the massacres the godsbane has single handedly caused with His own hands and wrath! To challenge Him alone is suicide." Ares stated.
"Are you afriad of Him?" The trickster child god asked mischievously.
The sound of raging waves sounded around the Hall of Gods. Everyone looked at the Greater god of Oceans and Lakes.
His hands were tightly gripping his throne's armrests.
"One would have to be a fool not to fear Him. A war against the godsbane ages ago lead to the fall of most of the Pantheon and paved the way for the few that remained to become Greater gods, absorbing the divinity of our fallen brothers and sisters...cannibalism, to stand a chance against Him but even that was not enough..."
The god of the Oceans and Lakes stopped speaking. No one dared speak. Only the trickster god continued to smile. The water deity then decided to continue speaking.
"I led armies against Him. I was arrogant and bloodthirsty back then. I remember His face. I can still see it. He smiled at me as His silver hair danced in the wind. He looked me in the eye even though I was far out at sea, He looked me dead in the eye.
His lips moved and I heard his words. The words that came before the destruction and devastation."
The Ocean god waved his hand and the orb began to show a man who look like he was in his early thirties.
He wore a cloak and carried a single spear. There was nothing special about the weapon. It was a normal spear but the mana coating it was terrifying.
The mana raged. It called for blood. It wanted to devour souls of its victims.
The man from the Ocean god's memory looked like the older brother or even the father of the boy in the War gods memory but when he smiled the two looked like twins!
'I hope you have had your fun. I hope you enjoyed your tantrum. I hope you see what I do next. I hope you do not turn away. I hope you see everything I am about to do, I will even slow down just for you. See me and regret the day you thought to stand against me.'
The memory continued to play out. Time began to slow down as millions of ocean races, created by the Ocean god charged, demigods and blessed Heroes, they were all proved equal when they stood before the godsbane.
Equal in that fact that death found each one almost instantly.
Their eyes were gouged. Their throats impaled. Their hearts ripped out of their chests. There heads split open. Their divinity shattered. Their wills broken.
The godsbane did not stop. He did not tire. He did not sleep. He did not care.
One after another, they all fell. Rivers of blood were flowing into the ocean and turning it red. The Ocean god who was deeply connected to the waters of Idris could only look in horror.
He began to cough and vomit blood as if he had been poisoned.
"We surrender!"
"Mercy!"
"I have children!"
"I do not want to die like this!"
These were the pleas of the once righteous and zealous soliders of the god of oceans. They had forsaken their faith because before the godsbane, only a true death, a death of the soul, awaited them.
There was no honour in this genocide. The gods were mass murderers themselves but they used natural disasters to show their wrath.
To do it like this...to be so up close and personal, to make your enemies see their death slowly coming at them with no chance of escape...to not tire or show a single speck of mercy...
Perhaps, the godsbane was being merciful by granting them quick deaths but when He got to the demigods, the Ocean god's illegitimate children, He'd cut them and leave negative mana in their body, making their blood boil and the mana devouring their souls.
He then stopped killing for a second and pierced His spear into the ground.
His claws grew to the size of daggers and He began to shred His enemies like cheap paper.
The forces of the Ocean god dwindled to nothing. Corpses lay all the way from the inland right down to the beaches.
A magical red cacoon had stopped all from retreating, even the Ocean god. He had no choice but to stay and watch as His chosen warriors perished.
When the armies were annihilated, the godsbane looked at the god of Oceans.
'It's not over yet.'
Godsbane summoned ten black orbs and sent them into the sea.
'NOOOOOOOO!!!!!' The Ocean god screamed. He tried to gather divinity to stop the orbs but his divinity was not a match for the godsbane.
Ten underwater countries were destroyed. Hundreds of Millions of worshipers destroyed in an instant and their souls erased.
'I hope you saw. I hope you remember. I hope you regret this day, Triton.' The godsbane spoke and time returned to normal.
The godsbane disappeared and the Ocean god spent eons cleaning up the effects of the bloodied oceans.
His tears kept falling and that is how the oceans of Idris became so salty.
"Under no circumstances must we provoke Him. You younger gods may not know it but if you stand against Him, you will stand alone. If any Greater gods wishs to challenge Him, I will not support you. Know that from that moment on, you will become an enemy of the seas."
It was a declaration of war from the Ocean god himself. No one was allowed to bring the devil to his doorstep or you will be seen as a transgressor and not a friend.
The gods were already stunned by all they had witnessed but the shocking atmosphere did not end there.
"Well said, Triton," a chilling voice came from the larger thrones of the Primordial gods. "I am here to deliver the same message. The Primordial gods, including myself, have unanimously agreed that anyone that dares to provoke Lord Valerian Erebus Jata, the godsbane, will be stripped of their divinity and suffer eternally. The Primordials have no desire to fight enemies they cannot win against."
The aura of Death faded and the throne that previously had a shadowy figure on it was once again empty.
The gods could not remember the last time a Primordial visited the Hall of Gods. The Primordials were the apex of divine power and they all unanimously agreed that they could not win against the godsbane?
Only Triton did not look surprised. He merely stood up and disappeared into a sea mist. But those that saw him could tell that he had been crying as he left.

The god of trickery, illusions and poison was sweating when he reached his own divine realm.
He had know for a long time that Valerian would awaken but he could not believe it had happened so soon.
He hoped to at least have reached the status of a Greater god by the time it happened but alas it was too late.
He knew who Valerian truly was. The Seed had told him. He also knew that Valerian was insanely weaker than he originally had been in this world and weaker than he had been when his soul was born.
Now was the time to act. Now was the time to use the Seed and and attack Valerian.
The young god heard voices in his head.
"Yes, I will do it. Remember your promise? I want power to shake universes too."
The voices continued speaking. The young god smiled wickedly.
"Okay, then we can merge."
A painful scream rang out as the divine realm of the god of trickery disappeared.

"I am not happy, Rhea." A little girl who looked thirteen spoke.
"You are never okay, Divina." Another girl spoke.
"Be quiet, both of you, I swear I felt his presence!"
"We should warn, Uncle." Rhea said.
"I am sure he knows!" Devina stated.
"He is not ready to face that Beast, Leah." Rhean pleaded.
"It is only a seed of the true Beast." Leah said. "We should change Fate and protect Eve's reincarnation. That is our duty, she is nearly in Saras, we should turn her to a different kingdom. If she dies there, we will be the next ones to die, nieces or not!"
