I rushed inside the class, knowing I was late but stopped abruptly when I noticed three new guys standing in front. Correction : Three new hot guys. I quickly pushed my glasses up which had slid down the bridge of my nose due to my abrupt halt and tried to ignore the intense gazes of the new comers.
"Sorry I am late sir." I apologized. Mr. Brooks waved my apology away with a curt "detention." I was almost about to reply but refrained myself. Instead I sidled over to my seat which was the first bench. I am a nerd remember?
I pulled of my glasses and pretended to wipe them as the three of them still stared at me. I was starting to feel uncomfortable. Like jeez what was their problem? No one pays me that much attention, only a few insults or shoves. I am perfectly fine with it except for the bullying. because their is an Anti-bullying program in our school but no body bothers. It is just for show anyway. You know 'all the rich people don't have hearts' thing.
After putting on my glasses I looked up and found the dark-headed one still staring at me while the others introduced themselves. I squirmed under his gaze and looked at the other two instead.
Okay so I learned that the guy with soft brown hair and and light green eyes is Jordan Matthews. He looks nicer than the other two and had a warm friendly expression.
The dude with dirty blond hair and bright blue eyes is Ethan Waters. He is pretty flirtatious and cocky considering the fact that he had winked at more than half of the girls already.
The creepy guy who had been staring at me blankly( like seriously didn't momma teach you manners?) is Ace Stone. He has jet black hair and intense blue eyes. He supports the typical 'bad boy' look with the leather jacket and cocky attitude. He is muscled and the seems like the leader of them all.
Although they are all pretty hot it's safe to say that he is the hottest. But something about him is weird. He seems to have a dangerous aura around him, like a halo of that one as the angels only dark. He is definitely someone I need to stay away from. I already have enough problems as it is.
I didn't realize I had been staring at him until his lips morphed into a smirk which to his surprise I answered with a eye roll. He must have expected me to fawn over him just as literally every other girl was but sorry to disappoint you buddy I am not your fangirl. I may be a nerd but I have self-respect. I am not planning to drool over him.
"Alright boys go take a seat." Mr Brooks said as he pulled out his folder. The girls instantly started to either look at them flirtatiously or glaring at their partners who weren't the three boys.
I put my head down, hoping none of them would sit next to me but just my luck. The only three seats together were behind and next to me. I heard a chair scrape but didn't look up. I wasn't in the mood to deal with the bitchy glares that must be being thrown at me from the girls.
But whoever the hell was sitting next to me started poking me. What the fuck was his problem? Aren't gang leaders supposed to be cold hearted people who killed without a second thought? I didn't wanted to die so soon.
"Hey you redhead." A deep voice said next to me. I internally scoffed at this ridiculous nickname but then again I was a redhead. "I am talking to you radish." The voice said again.
Radish? What the fuck? My hair wasn't that red and I am not a flipping vegetable but I can be pretty fiery. They haven't seen that side of me yet.
Not wanting to piss him off I lifted my head and stared at Mr-deep-voice which turned out to be Ace. "What do you want?" I snapped without thinking. What the effing-hell? 'I am a socially awkward nerd not Silent Death.' I reminded myself.
Ace smirked." So you are a fiery nerd? I like it." He said looking me up and down. You can't see my abs or curves in this baggy outfit so it wasn't much use.
"No of course not." I said quickly making him give me a weird look. " I-I mean, do you need something?"
"Nope." he said with his stupid smirk. I rolled my eyes internally and gave him a fake smile before burying my head in my arms. He started poking me again with a pencil. If he didn't want anything why was he disturbing me? Didn't he had better things to do.
Poke. Ignore him.
Poke. Take a deep breath Cassy.
Poke. Poke. Poke. You can do this Cass. Remember to keep your anger in check.
Poke. Okay that's enough.
I lifted my head and glared at him. " Hey redhead." He stated. " Don't call me that." I hissed. I probably shouldn't have done that but I was too angry to care.
He smirked. " You haven't told me your name yet so I am going to call you redhead." I glared at him wishing he would just vanish. "Why should I tell you my name?" I challenged.
"Because I said." He says simply. "But I am not your puppet so I am not going to tell my name whenever you order me to." I fired back. I heard a chuckle.I almost forgot his friends were sitting behind us. Insert facepalm.
"Not fiery are we?so I am just going to call you redhead or Radish if you don't tell me."Ace states with a smirk. Ugh! He was fucking annoying. But the annoying brat does have a point.
"I am Cassy." I answered my nickname. Cassandra was a pretty big name so I chose to be called Cassy.
"Cassy. Hot name babe." Ethan says with a smirk. Seriously this guy flirts with anything that moves. "Nice to meet you Cassy." Jordan says happily. Are criminals supposed to be like that? So happy and bubbly? A ray of sunshine?
I gave them all a sarcastic smile before lowering my head in my arms. I really didn't wanted to be here.I want to be at home watching vampire diaries.
Ace started poking me. Again. I was starting to get really angry. This guy seems to bring out the worst in me because I am a very chilled, laid back sort of person. Only he can get me so riled up.
I tried to control my anger but after a particularly hard poke I snapped. "What in the name of the holiest shitty shit in history do you want?" I yelled at the top of my voice while standing up and slamming my book on the table. The familiar rush of anger and adrenaline filling my veins.
I only realized how loud I had said it when everything went pin drop silence and every human in the class stared at me with jaws hanging open specially Ace.
"Language Miss. Williams." Mr Brooks roared but before he could dish out another detention, the bell rang. Honestly, saved by the bell.
I almost sprinted out of the classroom not looking behind. Holiest shitty shit in history? Is it really the best I can do? But I couldn't help being worried about the little incident. What would they do? It wasn't exactly my fault, right?
They could be in a gang judging by their muscles and tattoos not to mention the scars. What if the rumors were true? I could fight three of them but the whole gang? Not to mention I needed to keep my identity a secret. They could get suspicious.
What if they decided to spy on me to figure out who I really am? It would cause so much trouble and it most definitely will end up me losing my life. What the hell have I done?
This day turned out to be a downright disaster.
