"Fiona?"
"Gosh! Rojen you need to hide."
"Fiona?!"
"Where should I hide?"
"Anywhere. Just don't let her see you." I whispered.
Ms. Letty shouldn't know that I'm hiding someone in my room. Especially a man.
"Fiona! Don't let me ruin your door."
"Coming, Ms. Letty."
"Why took you so long to open the door?"
"I... ah... doing something inside."
"I heard your talking to someone here. Let me in."
"No. There is-"
"I said let me in."
I opened the door let Ms. Letty inside of my room.
"See? I have nothing to hide on you. Maybe you just misheard me calling to someone else on my phone."
"Are you really sure about that, Fiona? You know that you'll pay extra once I found out that you're letting someone sleep here."
"Yes! Yes I know that, Ms. Letty."
"Or maybe you're hiding your man here?"
"What? No! Why would I do that, Ms. Letty? I even don't have a boyfriend."
"I'm just making it sure. Well I have to go now."
"Goodbye, Ms. Letty."
When she was about to go out of my room, we heard a noise that is coming from the comfort room.
"Gosh." I whispered.
Ms.Letty looked at me with a strange expression on her face.
"Who's there?"
"No one. Maybe just a rat."
"Show me your comfort room."
"I promised there is nothing there."
"Show me your comfort room."
"You'll see my underwears."
"I said show me your comfort room."
I've got no choice but to walk towards the door of the comfort room and the next thing happened was an incident that I didn't expect to happen.
"Who's this?"
"A... A f-friend of mine."
"So you lied to me?"
"I'm sorry! Ms. Letty. My friend will stay just for one night."
"I don't care. Rules are rules."
"I'm sorry."
"Pay for her staying here. One night rate costs 10 dollars."
"How about a month?"
"I'll give you discount. 70 dollars is enough."
"Great. I... ah... I'll just get my wallet."
"What's your friend's name?"
Gosh! How would I gave her name?
"She's... She's... ah... She's ROJANE. Yes! She's Rojane."
"Great. I can tell your friend is beautiful."
"Thank you, Ms. Letty." Rojen said in a girly tone.
"Uh... You're voice looks weird. Maybe she's sick. Take care of your friend, Fiona. It's hard to be sick one of these days."
"Yes, Ms. Letty. Here's her rent here."
"Good. Now I'll leave you here. Don't lie to me again, Fiona."
"Yes, Ms. Letty. Bye."
She closed the door as she got out of my room.
"That was close."
"Good thing I found a towel here so that I can cover my hair like what you girls does. And I didn't know that you own this kind of bra. It's too big for you. Where did you bought it?"
"Rojen! Don't wear that. You look like ew."
He just laughed so hard and change his clothes into normal.
--
"Where are we, Fiona?"
"At the park."
"What are we doing here?"
"We're going to have an extra job."
"What job?"
"Giving flyers to other people."
"Oh. Where are the flyers?"
"At my backpack."
"Great. But can we eat first. I'm hungry."
"Why are you always hungry?"
"I don't know. I just love food."
"Ok then let's go to Mr. Pome first before we give flyers to people."
--
Mr. Pome's POV
"Mr. Pome!"
"Hi Selene. Haven't you gone to school yet?"
"Nope. My schedule is at 10 a.m."
"So what are you doing here?"
"I'm going to eat. I missed you grilled chicken and sticky rice. You know what, I tried to eat the grilled chicken from other restaurant, I didn't like it because it's too dry and tasteless."
"Flowering of words, Selene. Fine I'll give you free grilled chicken."
"Yey! Thank you so much, Mr. Pome."
"You're welcome."
"By the way, Mr. Pome, do you believe on Daily star reading?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because it is said there that I'm gonna meet my one and only man soon. My daily star said that he's tall, Pale white skin, Not too muscular body, and super cute and handsome. I hope I'm gonna meet him soon."
--
Fiona's POV
"I hope I'm gonna meet him soon."
"Who?"
"I don't know. She said her daily star reading said that she'll find her man soon, blah blah." Mr. Pome said.
"I think I found him already, Mr. Pome." Selene said like she's having a day dream. Then I just realize she's looking at Rojen
"Selene. Aren't yoi going to school yet?" I ask, changing the topic
"Later, 10 a.m."
She's keeping on day dreaming until Mr. Pome slap her slightly on her face.
"Ouch." She said in a sweet voice.
It seems like she's going to day dream until she'll colapsed.
"What's your name?" Selene ask to the man beside me.
"I'm Rojen."
"Hi Rojen. Nice name. I'm Selene." she lend her hand for a shake.
"Goodluck for the school today, Selene. We have to go now. Bye Mr. Pome." I said and I shaked my hand instead.
"Bye bye. Take care."
"Where are you going?" Selene asked but I didn't answer her. Instead, I grabbed Rojen's hand and started walking farther them.
"What are you doing, Fiona? I thought we're going to eat?"
"I... ah... D-didn't you told me that stars are probihited to love humans? I'm just helping you get away from her because it seems like Selene likes you." I reasoned out.
"Oh. Thank you, Fiona. I didn't notice that."
"Now that you know, you should be careful."
We walked farther so that Selene won't find us.
"Here's the flyer. Just give it to people, ok? Like this."
I showed him how to give flyers but no one's receiving it.
"I think you should wear a smile to get their attention."
"Whatever."
"Fiona?"
"Hey! Hello Marco! What are you doing here?"
"I'm here asking people for charity purposes."
"Aw. So kind of you Marco. Keep up the good work."
"Thanks."
"Hello, I'm asking for you help for charity purposes. Thank you."
"You already know what to do now, Rojen?"
"What is he doing?" he asked looking at Marco.
"I saw him put the money on his pocket." He said. Marco seems to hear that.
"What? Why would he do that? I know Marco. He's my friend. He wouldn't do that kind of thing."
"But-"
"Nevermind. Make sure to give all these flyers to people, okay? I have to go to work now. I can't be late."
"Okay."
"And here's 10 dollars. Buy all foods that you want."
"Great! Thanks, Fiona. Take care of yourself."
"Take care too. Bye!" I waved my hand at him.
I rode a taxi to restaurant where I work. The salary was just enough for me to survive. Sometimes it's too bit for me.
I worked for about 8 hours. It's so hard because I encountered lots of demanding costumers. I was so tired that I layed my back at the bed when I am already at my room.
"How should I suffice my salary today? It's too bit for me to live. Maybe I shouldn't eat dinner. Well, I'm used to it already."
It rained outside that the sound of it brings good sound to my ears. It felt so calming.
I am still lying at the bed when I heard my phone beeped and a message appeared.
'You received 50 dollars for the flyers. Congratulations.'
"What flyers?" I asked until I realized something that I forgot.
"Gosh! I forgot Rojen!"
