Sophia's POV
The day passed by so fast I just get tired without doing anything. What can expect on first days? You introduce your name then take a sit then just listen to all of your classmates life biography until you just get bored and wait for the bell tp rang.
We didn't started lecturing. We just do some activities, and somehow it's fun. I had fun but not to the point that I can keep it as best memories. Maybe not for now that we just met.
"Soph!" I heard someone called my name. It was my bestfriend, Phionee. One of the noisiest yet a real friend of mine. We have been on a serious fight before but I think that's what made our friendship became stronger.
"Oh? Aren't you going home yet?" I asked.
"Nah! I still have money. Wanna hang out? Just have fun in just a little bit of time." She said. She looked mysterious like she's planning to do something.
"What? Don't show me that kind of face or else I will not go with you." I said frankly.
"I'm just joking. I just like seeing that reaction of yours everytime your getting hot headed." She laughed. I just rolled my eyes on her but then laughed with her as well. "I just want someone to come with me go to the night market and eat some affordable yet delicious street foods." She said while showing me her puppy eyes.
"Where are our other friends? Charlyn or Shedrick?" I asked.
"They go home already. They leave me alone here." She responded. I don't know of she's sad or she's just showing me that face to make me feel a little bit of guilt to persuade me to come with her.
"Uh. Fine. That's sounds interesting somehow." I said.
"Yey! Your the best bb!" She giggled then hug me. I just smiled at her then we started walk again talking about stuffs that happened earlier this day.
I'm the type of person who's and extrovert and introvert at the same time. Like sometimes it depends on my mood whether I wanna go out with friends or just wanna stay at home and sleep. But honestly, when I am out with friends, it feels like I don't wanna go home anymore.
After about a couple of minutes and we already reached the night market in the city. The place was cozy and the ambiance it brings felt so calming and enjoyable.
The colorful lights are everywhere and there are lots of people strolling around, tasting different kinds of foods and buying clothes that costs not exceeds 50 pesos.
"Ahh! I really miss this place. I just came here yesterday with my sister but still I love hoing to this place every night." Phionee shared a story to me.
"Yeah! I agree." I respond. I've been here before but I don't feel satiated at all.
"Come! I already wanted to eat my favorite taco." She said as she hold my hand and brought me to her favorite stall.
"I've never been here before." I said as I was looking at the place. I'm amazed at the decorations. This is an open area but this place stands out compare to the others. This place looks like a luxurious restaurant with their food that costs only 20 pesos.
"Don't worry, Soph. It's my treat."
"I know. I won't go here with you if I'll just use my money for this." I said sarcasticaly which mde him giggle.
"Uh. I know you're saving money to buy ypur favorite Twice merch." she respond while paying.
"Oh. You know me so well." I replied.
We took a sit on one of the empty sits and we started eating quietly.
"Uh. By the way, do you want to buy clothes? I heard that the clothes there costs not much. From 50, now 20 pesos only." She said and winked.
"No! I won't go there or else I'll go home later crying because I wasted money on those clothes again. And also I already bought a lot, Ma will kill me for sure if she knows." I replied, stil enjoying the taco.
"Whatever." She just shaked her head. "By the way,, isn't that our new classmate? What is his name again?" she asked.
I turned to look at where she was looking and I was been fascinated again by that pair of eyes of him. He was just wearing a simple black shirt and short yet he looked so sexy. His pale skin stands out that makes other land their eyes on him.
"Right! I remember his name. Benju." I heard Phionee said.
"Yeah." I said, nodding slightly while still looking at him.
"You know what, he's handsome but not like the others. His handsome was just average but Soph, he had high sex appeal." I heard she said again. It's not that clear at all because she was eating but still I tend to understand it.
I just nodded and focused my attention again to my food. I don't want to feel this kind of feeling right now. I'm not in the mood.
"By the way, thanks for the treat, Phion. Next time if I had money, I'll treat you as well." I said.
"You're welcome. I also enjoyed it by the way." She said while smiling.
"Then I have to go home now. Ma has been texting me already. I don't want to hear her rapping skills again." I said then laughed.
"Haha. Take care then. Bye bye." She said while waving her hands to me.
"Bye!" I said then we separated ways. I bet she'll buy clothes again.
I walked for about a couple of minutes so that I can save more money. Public transportations charges big nowadays. Just a few kilometers costs 25 pesos already.
I was about to call a public transportation when I got dumped onto someone. Luckily that person hold me tight. I nearly hit the ground.
"I'm sorry." I said then shake off myself. I was about to thank him when I swallowed my own words when I saw those pair of eyes again.
How came he was here when I just saw him at the night market earlier.
"Are you fine?" He asked. His eyes was cold while looking at me.
"Y-yeah. Thanks." I mutter.
He just nodded and tapped my shoulder which made me stand still.
"Look to where you walk at. You should be thankful that I grabbed your hands or else you already hit the ground." he said coldly, like he was telling me I'm stupid for not looking to where I am walking.
"Yeah that's why I said thank you." I said sarcastically.
If only he's not looking then I could already roll my eyes. This boastful man.
"Mmm." He said then just walked away.
"Mmm your face." I whisper. I promised to myseIf that from today onwards, I won't get attracted to him anymore. That is attitude is... is... argh!!
I started to hate him now.
