Michael: You guys need to leave... Roderick, you stay here with me.
Vanessa: Wait, what? Mike-
Michael: Vanny, you've got to go.
Vanessa: But I can help...
Michael: No, you can't... I'm sorry, but Betty didn't come to you yet. You have to go with the others. And I... don't want to see you hurt... Ok? So please, do it for me.
Vanessa: Mike-

Roderick: Wow... That was hard to hear, bud...

Joanne: I just didn't understand two things... What are those things that started randomly attacking the school? And, why Michael and Roderick, who are the dumbest guys in the whole world, can defeat those things?
Vanessa: Remember when Roderick "died" at the prom?
Eleanor: Oh yeah, I still question how did he survive though...
Vanessa: Well, actually it was a guy named Wally, who is a werewolf, and-
Joanne: (gets up) Don't tell that Roderick is a werewolf now!!

Joanne: (facepalms) Oh my God!!!
Eleanor: So that explains why he told me to wash Pluto last weekend...
Annais: But what about Mike?
Vanessa: Mike got his powers differently. Ink made some kind of a "ritual" with Mike to gain his powers, and now, he's outside with Roderick trying to find a way to defeat the Off-Colors, who were creatures that mostly appear, by feeling negative emotions from people, and try to kill them or posses them at least.
Annais: That may explain why Michael told us to get off there.
Vanessa: Yeah, to be safe, of course.
Annais: Yeah, but also because some of us were getting
emotional. (points at Eleanor) Eleanor was desperately screaming for help, (points at Vanessa) and Vanny was getting sad, 'cause Mike didn't want her help... I mean, he wants your help, but without your powers which you didn't have yet, according to him, you can't be there with him, and Roderick.
Vanessa: Yeah, but Betty could come at any moment, like Wally did with Roderick or something...
Annais: From what I understand about magic, sometimes it takes a while to come, so... Maybe is not your time yet, Vanny. (puts her hand on Vanessa's shoulder) I'm sorry...
Vanessa: It's ok, Annais. Besides, if I was Mike, I would definitely do the same!
Annais: You too are perfect for each other! I just don't understand how you're not dating him yet!

[Inside of the cleaning room, there was a little monster glowing, while "sleeping"]
Vanessa: No way! (gets inside the room) It's Kumu!
Kumu: (opens an eye) Mmm? (looks up and sees Vanessa) *Kumu sounds*
Vanessa: Huh?
Mathilda: I think he's trying to communicate with you, Vanessa.
Vanessa: With me?
???: Yes. (appears of the shadows) Greetings, Vanessa.
Vanessa: *gasp* Betty Noire!!
Betty: It is pleasure to finally meet you in person. Ink and I have been planning this for decades. I mean, since you've been born... You've been through a LOT! But fear not, 'cause YOU are the one who's going to make the others that made you feel pain, pay for what they've done, with your brand new abilities: FEAR!!
Vanessa: So that means that I can finally help Mike outside?
Betty: Yes!
Vanessa: *gasp of happiness*
Betty: But no...
Vanessa: Oh...
Betty: Just kidding! You probably already know Kumu, he's-
Vanessa: Able to defend you, and shape-shift into weapons, I know.
Betty: You got it, girl! But listen closely, you have abilities as well! You make a spear with your soul, and use it to capture your victims' souls.
Vanessa: Yes.
Betty: Ooh! And another thing! Kumu is connected to you, and when he has enough energy, and can use a special attack called "Rhabdophobia". But use it only when you need it most.
Vanessa: But, what is it about? What does it do?
Betty: Trust me, you should know by yourself. It'll be fun. (smiles) Now, let me just do this really quick (grabs Vanessa's hands). "For the power invested in me (Betty's hair glows pink), I, Bête Noire and Kumu, Soul of Fear, give half of our soul to my chosen one, promising to use it for good, and to save the world." (releases Vanessa's hands)
Vanessa: Just one thing, Betty... Why did you want to destroy the world so hard a few years ago...?
Betty: My sister was possessing me, but was able to get rid of her, and also control my powers, and using it for good... Thanks to Ink. Now, go. I can feel that Mike needs you right now!
Vanessa: I won't disappoint you, Betty!!
Betty: I know you won't.
Vanessa: Let's go, Kumu!
Kumu: *Kumu sounds*
[Kumu and Vanessa run out of the room]
Betty: You five must have a lot of questions... Allow me to clear your minds.

Roderick: I don't think we're gonna be able to defeat them, they just keep coming more and more.
Michael: You're right, but we can't stop! I won't let them hurt Vanny.
Roderick: Well, at least you're motivated to fight...

Vanessa: Betty came for me!! Look!
Kumu: (appears from Vanny's back) *Kumu sounds*
Michael: Oh, I see.
Vanessa: (holds Mike's hands) I'm useful, I promise, just... Let me help you this time...
Michael: *sigh* Ok.

Michael: (smiles) Alright, Roderick, ready to proceed?
Roderick: I might need a break, bro...
Vanessa: Seriously? Are you that lazy?!
Roderick: No! I mean, maybe, but not in this case. The more we defeat these Off-Colors, the more Off-Colors come.
Vanessa: Ohh, I know!! There should be a portal somewhere around the school, if they suddenly appeared here, the portal should be here! Kumu, can you up in the sky to see where the portal is?
Kumu: *Kumu sounds*
Vanessa: Huh? Do you want me to do it?
Kumu: *Kumu sounds* (shapeshifts in wings, on Vanny's back)
Vanessa: Woah!
Roderick: Now this is new... (looks at Mike) Right, Mike?
Michael: (vomits ink)
Roderick: MIKE?!?!?!
Michael: Aaah!! What?
Roderick: Ugh, forget it...
Vanessa: Ok, I'll be back!! (flies up high and looks for the portal) There it is!! (lands)
Michael: Anything?
Vanessa: It's nearby the gym. Let's go!
Michael: Right behind you!
Roderick: *sigh* I hate this...
Later...
Michael: There it is!!
Vanessa: (lands)
Kumu: (shape-shifts into his normal self)
Roderick: So what do we do now?
Vanessa: Now, we have to seal it... Somehow...
Michael: I can try to seal it, since I'm a portal maker, I'm probably a portal sealer too! (walks to the portal)
Roderick: *sigh* He's not gonna make it...
Vanessa: Why's that?
Roderick: Don't you see? That portal is from creatures that are summoned by negative emotions, so it can be only opened by negative emotions, and so as closed.
Vanessa: Ok...
Roderick: But you see, we're the good guys, so what means, is that we're the good vibes here... ok? They're the bad vibes, and we're the good ones, got it?
Vanessa: So what you're trying to say is that that portal can only be closed by the Off-Colors?
Roderick: YES!!!!!!!!
Vanessa: But I'm sure Mike can do it.
Roderick: (facepalms) Ugh, you-
Vanessa: Look, you get your theory, and it's probably it, but listen. Ink was a villain once.
Roderick: What??
Vanessa: It was a time that he had a team with X-Gaster, he had no idea that he teaming up with a bad guy. So, when X-G "went gone" for the first time, Ink did everything to bring X-Gaster back. And he did... He almost killed Sans' AUs though. But then, the other made his mind clear. But I think he still thinks about him...
Roderick: Ok, first of all, who's X-Gaster?
Vanessa: Oh, he's... never mind... By the way, how are you doing there, Mike?
Michael: Trying to understand this portal...
Vanessa: (walks to Mike) Mmm...
Michael: (looks at Kumu) Hey... Don't you think he might know something...?
Vanessa: Maybe... Hey, Kumu?
Kumu: (flies nearby Vanny's shoulder) Mmm?
Vanessa: You think you can help us? Finding a way to close this portal?
Kumu: ... *Kumu sounds* (flies to the top of the portal & touches the portal with his tail)
Michael: What is he doing?
Vanessa: Not sure, but I think that's how he's gonna find out how do we get rid of this thing...
Kumu: ... (flies back to Vanny) *Kumu sounds*
Vanessa: You have got to be kidding...
Michael: What?
Vanessa: Guess Roderick was right all along...
Michael: About what?
Vanessa: Only negative emotions are able to close this thing. I may have to use Betty's special attack...
Michael: What special attack?
Vanessa: Well, it's called "Rhabdophobia"... But I'm not sure how I use it...
Michael: Betty didn't tell you about it?
Vanessa: She told me to figure it out by myself, but I'm not sure how... She just told me, that I should use it, only when I need it most though...
Michael: Wait, what has the name of the special attack again?
Vanessa: Huh, Rhabdophobia? Why do you ask?
Michael: Vanny, Rhabdophobia means "fear of magic", that should mean something, but in a good way, for you.
Vanessa: It is?
Michael: Yeah... Maybe, you can take your enemies' powers, and make them powerless, that wouldn't make pretty sense...
Vanessa: Roderick? Is everything ok?
Roderick: Huh... No...?
