Lynn's pov
It was all according to plan…
Classes were already over, Ace and Ian got so thrilled to know that Nay is back.
"We should all hang out at the weekends like before!"
"I'm really glad we're complete again! It was a little lonely without Nay for a while."
The three were so glad to be reunited with their other friend again. I wonder how Lyde would react to this. He might probably thank me for being such a great sister. This can be better if the real Lyde is here, though I don't mind witnessing such a warm scene once in a while.
Sometimes I also wish that I have more friends like Lyde.
"…I'm really sorry for troubling you guys… I'm also sorry Ian, I was wrong to let Jeiro keep targeting you." Nay just won't stop apologizing to Ian, I guess he was guilty of his idea of letting things be as it is.
"It's alright. I would've thought the same, but things are way more better know if it weren't for Lyde."
"Yeah, Lyde's the best!"
"Huh? No, I—" Ace hung his arm around my shoulder and kept praising me.
"You may not be so brilliant at times, but you're the best when it comes to helping us. Thank you, really!" Then he whispered only to me. "Specially your sister, she deserves sixty percent of the credit."
"Yeah! Lyde is really the best!"
"Geez, would you guys stop it." I'm getting really embarassed by this. And Nay seem to be indifferent with all the praises they're throwing at me because he's the only one here that knows that I'm not the real Lyde.
"What's the matter Lyde?" Nay asked.
"It's… it's just Keto." He did mention that we'll be holding a meeting soon. I sighed as I put back my phone. "Y'all know the drill, I hope you guys have a fun time."
"Sure, we can always hang out later. We also hope you get yourself off of that gang." Ace patted my back before they all left.
Must be nice if I could enjoy a day without nothing to do with that damned gang. But then again, if it pays then it can be worth the time.
I changed into the gang uniform before heading to the gang base, and as I got there, everyone was rounding up around a few members that were standing in the center.
"What's going on?" I asked one of them, but I don't think these fellow members will ever give me an answer… nor respect me. Maybe that's just their nature.
"Lyde!!" Then Keto came running to me. But the closer he gets, the more freakier it is. And before he could even reach me, the way he was glaring at me gave me the urge to runaway. "AAAAHHH!"
"COME BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!" We're almost the same height!
Luckily, Ash was there to stop Keto. "Dude, stop chasing after the little guy. Isn't he a candidate from your group? You should act more of a leader right now and be there for him."
"I'm not his fucking mom, Ash. I also know what I'm doing, so quit stopping me from beating this piece of shit!"
"Eek!" I hid behind Ash as Keto tried to reach for me with. "What's up with him!? And what do you mean I'm a candidate?! What's going on!??"
"We're having a reformation, and we're going to choose a fourth leader among the qualified people out here. And you just happen to become a candidate—ow! You bite like a fucking rabid animal!" Ash pulled back his hand from holding Keto away from me.
"Don't get in my business, Ash. I'll deal with this on my own!" My boss is really worked up here.
"I'm afraid I can't let you do whatever you want right now. Ren just ordered me to keep an eye on you."
"Fuck!" Keto cussed.
"I see… though I still don't understand why Keto's trying to kill me." I was still scratching my head on this while hiding behind Ash.
"You see… he was against you being a candidate."
"Then can't I just step down from this? It's not like I want to be one of the leaders anyway, I think I'm not up to that kind of responsibility." Also, I won't be here for long too.
Ash shook his head. "Sorry to say this but Ren made that decision. No one can go against the boss's words."
"EH!?" Ren, that bastard! Is he trying to make my life even more difficult!?
"That shitty boss, I already told him that we can't have someone stupid like you as leader." Ren's absolutely shitty, but he's no worse than this psycho.
"Maybe we can talk to him about this?… can't we?" I asked Ash.
"…I don't think so." What great shit this is.
"If you don't want to be a candidate, then get your ass over here! Beating you until you can't fight is the only option we have for now!" What a real psycho!
"No way! How can beating me up solve this problem?!" It just absolutely makes no sense. Can't he just beat someone else if he's acting up like this?
"BECAUSE! If you can't fight, then you won't have to compete for the competition!"
"I'll just handle this on my—WHAT NOW?! COMPETITION!?" Did I hear him right? To compete for a fucking position!?
"DUH! HOW ELSE ARE WE GOING TO DECIDE FOR THE NEXT LEADER?!"
"DON'T YOU GUYS VOTE FOR A PERSON!? WHY DO YOU ALL HAVE TO RESORT TO VIOLENCE IN EVERYTHING YOU DO!?"
"I think I should remind you… this isn't your typical organization after all. We're a group of people who dedicate ourselves into fights… and more fights… and violence." Out of nowhere, Jin appeared before us and made us all stop our ruckus. He had a hostile look on his face, as if he's not pleased to see us like this. "So get your shit together you fucking idiots. The reformation is starting."
