While I was watching some movie on my laptop, I kept glancing on the new phone I had. I still couldn't believe it myself, they would really do anything for their precious friend. It's admirable but their plan would definitely fuck me up. I mean, it would just be me against a number of bird brain punching machines.
I also don't know if I could still pull off the moves back in the days. I quit training with dad a year ago so I must be rusty now. Well, whatever. There's no backing off since I already got the phone.
"Yeah, I'm stupid as well." I admitted to myself. But I'm sure that I'm not as stupid as my twin brother.
As tomorrow came, Ace was once again infront of our house trying to call me out. Gramps who was behind me became suspicious of the dude? "Is that your boyfriend?"
"Heck no! He's with Lyde."
"…he's Lyde's boyfriend?" I don't know if gramps was serious or joking, so I just went along with it.
"Yeah, something like that."
"U-Uhh!" He was serious?! Well, whatever. I ran to Ace and tried to shoo him away.
"It's 9:17 am dude, you should come in the afternoon." I told him.
"No way, Lyde said you're always out of the house in the afternoon." Tsk! That Lyde is really annoying.
"What do you need anyway?!" If he keeps coming every morning, he would definitely ruin my morning everyday.
"It's Lyde, he said we should go to him and start planning."
My eyes rolled at him. "Err, fine." I really hate how eager they are to do this stupid plan. "Gramps, we'll be visiting Lyde at the hospital." I yelled to gramps before leaving the house.
While the two of us were on our way to the train station, it was awkward because he wasn't even talking. I didn't want to make the first move since I'm not in the mood to be acting all friendly with someone who wants to drag me to my death. And it even got more awkward when I glanced at him, he actually kept looking at me.
'Aaaah! Don't make this anymore awkward, please!' I yelled in my thoughts. I don't want people seeing us like an awkward couple… we're not even a couple to begin with! I barely even know this guy!
"I'm really sorry about our pathetic plan…" what's this? He started talking to me?
"Uh y-yeah? Oh." He really startled me. Well, atleast it wouldn't be that awkward anymore.
He then sadly looks down as he talk to me. "We were really sad that one of our friend had to move away. We can't even protect him when he was beside us, we actually never knew about it until he told us he had to move away."
"…so Lyde got himself in trouble with his impulse." I said.
"Yeah, I couldn't stop him either. As for our other friend Nay, he doesn't want anything to do with us anymore ever since our friend moved away."
"I see."
"So maybe, I didn't have enough strength to completely stop Lyde. I'm also sorry that I couldn't stop him from getting beaten up." He apologized again.
Talking to Ace, I kind of feel at ease knowing he was actually really kind. I smiled and patted him on the back. "No need to be sorry for that, it was my stupid brother's fault for doing that. I'm just thankful that you stayed with him and helped him."
"Yeah." He smiled back.
And while we got on the train, I really enjoyed my time talking to Ace. He's not that bad as my brother, I guess I can be friends with him and hang out some other times too.
"…hahaha! And there was this one time that Lyde slipped on the smooth floor and fell straight on Nay's crotch!"
"What the hell!? Hahahaha!"
"Nay punched Lyde away and—"
The door of Lyde's room unexpectedly opened. He was standing infront of us with a murderous look on his face. "I heard the two of you are having fun chatting about my dark past."
"Eek!" Ace hid behind me.
"Yeah, lmao. I never knew you were such a clown bro." I said laughing.
"Aaaahhh! I hate you guys!" He ran towards his bed and cried like a girl. Lame as always. "Whose friend are you anyway, Ace?! How dare you talk about that to my sister."
"C-Chill dude."
"And who the hell gave you permission to tell others about my detailed past as well?" I asked away while he was sort of giving Ace some threatening looks. For a wimp, his looks can be intimidating but that's all there is to him.
"E-Ehh! I… uh…" Lyde began to sweat nervously as I glared at him. "Tsk, nevermind that. Let's just begin the plan so we can get this over with."
"Tss, changing the subject so fast. You really take after gramps." Ace shakes his head with me in disappointment.
"Now's not the time to talk about that!"
"Fine, so what's your plan then?" Ahh, I can't wait to hear that stupid plan of his.
