It's Sunday,
Last night was a little dramatic, but now Calixta is back to normal again, She left the apartment early, I now know the reason why
Hailey didn't get home last night and she still hasn't texted me, I wonder if she's okay,
I looked at my keypad cellphone and think about where I can find a suitable job for me, a village girl,

I left the apartment and then went to the university's gate, I saw a man wearing a hoodie outside of the University so I assumed that it was Aldrin waiting for me,
"Aldrin!!" I called him as I was getting closer to the gate, Aldrin then turned around and then he waved his hands at me,
"Calesie!" He called back
"Are you ready for job hunting?" he asked when I got close,
"Of course I am, I have to make a living, I have to buy a new phone," I answered
"Speaking of new phone you don't have to," I looked at him because I was confused, he was smiling at me,
"But, Why? You told me yesterday that I should throw my old phone away and buy a new one"
He was still smiling at me, He looks so suspicious
"What?" I asked out of curiosity, who wouldn't be Aldrin was just standing in front of me looking at me wearing he's smile,
"TADA!!!" I looked at Aldrin with my eyes asking the question, what-is-it-look,
He's showing me a paper bag, is he going to prank me?
"What is this?" I asked while Aldrin was giving me the paper bag
"Take a look at it,"

As he said, I opened the paper bag, I saw a white box inside of it, the box was kind of a little large, I took the white box outside,

"No way!!" I was surprised when I saw the outside of the white box has a cellphone image printed on it
"Open it,"
"But that's too much, I can't accept this," I was trying to give back the white box to him but he was blocking my hand,
"It's okay Cal, It's my congratulatory gift for passing the school's first project, I thought about this a lot last night that maybe I can buy you a new phone as a gift, and here it is, "
"But....."
"It was hard escaping the guards guarding the university last night Cal, so you have to accept that okay?" Aldrin whispered to my ears because the guard is near us...
"But this is too much, " I looked at the white box that I am holding
"It's a gift from me to you, It's not that expensive anyway, It was on sale,"

We walked around the city, The city is full of buildings, full of people and full of cars, I am so unfamiliar and not used to this kind of environment but I wanted to get used to it,
"Calesie? What kind of job do you think you can do?" Aldrin was looking at the newspaper that he grabbed earlier when we were walking, is he thinking of finding a job from there?

"How about a convenience store? I think it suits you"

After minutes of Aldrin searching for a job on his phone he finally found some convenience store near our school that's hiring a student like me, that's great,
We walk following the direction on Aldrin's phone, I can't believe that there's a convenience store just 10 minutes away from our school, If I am hired there then I don't have to use public transportation since I can just walk,
We arrived at the convenience store, I looked inside from the outside using the glass wall, There was a young girl,
We entered the convenience store, saw a young girl arranging some products on the convenience store's shelf
"Hey, Good morning," Aldrin greeted
"Hello, Good morning, Sir and Ma'am what can I do for you", The girl asked she was wearing an apron that says welcome, she looks so young to me and yet she's working,
"Uhm...she is here to apply for a part-time job here at your store,"
The girl looked at me, I smiled at her so she smiled back, I don't know why I'm surprised that she smiled at me, I guess I got used to being ignored by a young girl,
"So are you hiring a part-timer?" Aldrin asked
"Yes, we are, JAIRO!!!"

"YES!!! ASHA!!!?" a man shouted, it was coming from a room inside the convenience store,
"Well hello there, What can we do for you?" the tall man asked, he is in front of us right now,
"Well they are here to apply for the night duty here at our convenience store," the young girl answered, I think her name is Asha?
"Really?!! Which one of you is applying for the job?" Jairo looked so excited,
"Her," Aldrin answered while pointing at me
"Hi, " I waved my hand at them,
"Hello young girl, are you sure you want to work here?" Jairo asked,
"Yes, I want to work here,"
"Well you sure are enthusiastic, You are hired!!!"
"Really?!!!"
"No, it's a joke, " I froze because of what he said, It's a joke? Did I hear that right?
"Oh, " I disappointedly said,
"It's a JOKE!!! HAHAHAHAHA," Jairo was..... laughing? I didn't get it at all, I stared at him with a confused look, we all stared at him,

"Her name is Asha by the way, she is my little sister,"
So Asha and Jairo are siblings, They don't look alike though, well they don't have to look like each other to become siblings,

"So Calesie now that you are hired you are going to work every 6 Pm to 12 Am only 6 hours, and the rules are simple here, the First rule, You have to serve all of the customers until they are satisfied with your service, Second, arrange the products whenever it is needed, expired products should be thrown away, just kidding, you can place the expired products inside my room, Third rule, all of us here is family," because of Jairo's explanation, I'm getting a lot excited, Except for the part that I have to stay awake from 6 to 12 but still, I can do that part, I don't want to bother my mom for the things that I can do, I have to learn to stand on my own,

"Well, Some of them, they don't want to be near that bar because it is full of drunk people and they say that it's dangerous being near that bar, it was so hard finding a person to help Asha, she is just 11 years old yet she is the only one managing the convenience store all day, I have work in the morning and the evening, I am helping her every Sunday because it's my day off, that's the reason why Sunday is also your day off, Thank you, Calesie, Asha can now sleep comfortably at night,"
So Asha is alone here at this convenience store because his brother is working too,

If Adeline was alright, I heard from him yesterday that she failed the project,
I hope she's okay,
I walked back going to the Girl's Building, I was getting closer until someone stopped me.....
