" Were you waiting for me? " J nodded in affirmation to J's question. Aki was happy to see J again and sat beside him, wearing a joyful grin on his face.
In the middle of both enjoying their meal, Aki uttered out of the blue, " I thought you were never going to eat together again. Not getting a response from you last time, kind of, gave me that feeling, but I'm glad to see you again and the both of us enjoying a meal like this. "
J and Aki enjoyed their meal in a positive mood. Although J still wasn't willing to say a word, Aki kept talking to him, sharing various stories with him in the process.
In the days that followed, Aki and J got very close to each other. It became natural for both of them to be seen together. J taught Aki how to cut wood more effectively, while Aki taught him how to be more friendly and open-minded with others.
