What did she mean by that? What is she planning? Ying Jie couldn't help but worry for some reason.
" Have you finished eating?" I asked.
" Yes! All done!" The response came as fast as I had asked it.
" It's getting late! Time for me to go". I grabbed my bag and headed towards the exit. As I was about to open the door, I was stopped by my brother.
" Wait up, Ying Yue!"
I turned around and saw that Ying Jie had stood up from his seat. " Wait for me! I'm almost done with my job. Let's head home together!"
I was happy for some reason as he said that. " Okay! I'll wait for you right outside!"
Ying Jie is a great police officer and an awesome big brother to have. Sometimes I wonder what I'd do if we were to part ways someday. I'll be so sad if that were to ever happen. I just hope that day will never come. I just hope no one will take my big brother away from me.
